I recently worked with a client and secured a claim recovery in Jacksonville, FL. I obtained his name from Duval County records and after a lot of persistance on my part, I was able to make contact with the right party. The training and support I received allowed me to push through the process and I will be forwarding a check for almost $11k to my client. He was totally unaware of the funds being held in his name, but is grateful for the financial gain he will be receiving. This humble man works three jobs, but these recovered funds will allow him to partner with his daughter on opening a business together and allow him to give up one of these other jobs.

Here is a case study of a file that we worked after taking Bob Diamonds course: Jessica B. ($10,003) We came across this lead in a survey of public records on the county website. We wrote our standard letter to Ms. B. and she responded with a phone call. She had owned the property jointly with her husband (now ex-husband) and the taxes were not paid as result of their divorce. She knew about the overage ($20,006) and had actually gone to the county to file a claim. She was told that the county would not pay unless both her and her ex-husband signed the claim form. She wanted nothing to do with her ex-husband so she decided to call us to see if we could do anything. We signed her and submitted the package of documents to the county. Upon follow up, we were also told by the county that they would not pay until the ex-husband signed as well. We were unable to connect with the ex-husband. I called the county tax office asking for an explanation of their refusal to pay out and was referred to the county attorney. After repeated attempts to reach the county attorney (at least 10), we had pretty much written off the hope of collecting this overage. We advised Ms. B. of the situation and told her that we would keep trying to contact the county attorney. Then recently, checking the daily mail, I was very surprised to find a check from the county, made out to Ms. B. for her half of the overage. I never did speak with the county attorney, but apparently they decided to change their policy and issue a check to Ms. B. for her half of the overage. We deposited the check using the power of attorney form from the Bob Diamond training course. After writing a check to Ms. B., she was very thankful to us for being able to recover for her.

The Power of Persistence! I found this lead initially from the county website in November 2023. This was for a company, and as such, the company was listed on the title. (I found out later this was for a piece of land that the company owned, and the company had gone out of business in 2011). I initially tried to contact the registered agent for the LLC as that was the only name I had. I got in touch with her, and she gave me the name of the president of that company. I contacted him in early 2024, and he said that he had it covered as he had a company that he had worked with in the past. The claim was to escheat in March 2025. Fast forward to late 2024. I saw the name of the company still listed from the file I got from the county. I contacted the owner again, and this time he said that he would like to work with me, as the company he had previously used could not get this claim for him. Because of the fact that the company had not been around for so long, there were some missing pieces to the puzzle that showed the link to ownership from this company to the client. Some of the paperwork was missing. Long story short – I was able to get some great help from Bob’s team to put these pieces together, There were some unexpected issues that came up that were frustrating for both me and my client. Fortunately, I had a good relationship with this client. I kept in touch with him throughout all of this and explained the situation as things were progressing. Finally after everything worked out, I was able to deposit my check on 7/20/26. My client thanked me for the hard work and persistence as he was ready to write it off as lost. Quote – We almost threw in the towel – but you kept the bait in the water! As such I need to thank Bob and his team for their help in getting this back! I couldn’t have done it without them! Sometimes there are some unexpected hiccups, and you have to be able to deal with them. Just don’t quit! And take the victory when you get it! My client is happy, my business has a good reputation, and I got paid! A win-win-win all the way around!

I should have updated this much sooner but I have health and pain issues that have distracted me. After my negative review, the Bob Diamond team responded and corrected my issue. I am currently working the system and finding that everything is as advertised. Maybe even better. My apologies to the team for not correcting the record sooner. J

This is my second claim that has paid out.  I found the funds on a list I received from a county in Georgia. The rural property was lost because the owners had not paid their property taxes for three years.  One of the owners had an unusual name, which made it easier for me to locate him. I first spoke with his wife, who was very motivated by the prospect of some income. She pushed her husband to engage me. He then persuaded the others. The most challenging things with this claim were, 1. communication difficulties, as the main claimant could hardly speak any English; 2. the treasurer changed his requirements midstream and 3. ultimately I had to hire an attorney to collect the checks. One claimant has need of an attorney for a different matter, and now she has the funds to hire one. "Thanks so much for all your help!" she said. Thanks to Mike for his support every step of the way. I have learned so much from him! The receipt of these funds reinforces for me the viability of this business, and I very much look forward to the next payout.
