Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're sorry to hear you did not get approved for our loan product(s) as expected based on our advertised criteria. All of our responsible lenders have an obligation to thoroughly review each application to ensure they only extend credit to those who they merit can reasonably afford to pay it back. This helps protect both our customers and our business. While we do advertise general approval guidelines which are by No Means a blanket approval statement, a credit decision involves evaluating multiple data points beyond just a credit score and length of credit history. Other factors like income, existing debt obligations, recent credit inquiries, and the type of the boat desired in the request are also carefully considered during an underwriting decision. We understand the disappointment of being denied credit, especially if you felt you met the stated qualifications. However, making exceptions to our underwriting standards would be unethical and could put customers at risk of taking on more debt than is advisable for their financial situation. Rest assured, our approval criteria are transparently disclosed, and we have no intention of misleading potential customers. We simply have a data-driven responsibility to ensure lenders proceed prudently. Please accept our apologies for the mix-up in communications and inventory timeframes. I can assure you that we strive to minimize these mix-ups, so they don't happen very often. We rely mainly on dealer feeds for the inventory listed on Boatzon. Given this, at times there may be disconnects but these are usually one-offs. We stand ready to do better and get you on the water if you haven't yet purchased a boat. We cordially invite you to return, should you wish to.

Greetings. Please allow me to explain that the reason you apply at Boatzon before receiving rates is that Boatzon wants to show you ACTUAL rates, based on your specific financial circumstances. Yes, Boatzon can do like others and show you upfront rates, but those rates may or may not apply to your specific financial circumstances. If they don't, then your expectations are unmet. Boatzon made the deliberate determination that it would be better to show you an actual rate for you personally, then to show a range of rates that you may or may not qualify for. We hope this helps.
