Purchasing my 9.9 mercury motor was great. They helped me order the correct item with the special needs and the order came in early. FYI, I ordered the same motor (loose motor) through Cabela's in Hoffman Estates il. After 6 months it finally came in and they wouldn't let me pick it up. They insisted they must do the installation. Real not nice people, a bunch of bad high-pressure sales. They deserve many words of negativity. However, the salesman who sold the motor originally to me was very good. Thanks for all of your help, it's nice to work with someone willing to sell what the customer wants. (Thanks for letting me vent about that Cabela's) You were great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unable to find motors locally I tried Boat Specialists. They had the items, offered a two motor price and shipped them quickly. Their knowledge and assistance in setting them up was phenomenal.

Boat Specialists recently upgraded my 1976 Boston whaler with a 75 horse four stroke mercury. It was a great experience! I know working on older boats is a challenge but they made it look easy. They even had to fiberglass the stern for strength and you can hardly tell. I highly recommend them.
