For the second time, we have had a phenomenal experience at Blue Pearl. I can’t say enough good things about our team - David and Priscilla facilitated excellent, empathetic communication while Dr. Baldwin and her resident Melissa worked magic behind the scenes. They were able to help our senior dog twice in serious medical emergencies, first fixing his spine and then removing his eye, giving us countless more years and many more memories with him. We are so grateful to our team and encourage them to any pet owner experiencing an emergency!

I went to Blue Pearl at 1 am in the middle of the night on the 23rd of January. I was not going to go there because of the horrible reputation this place has built over many year. But since it was the only place open I took my chances mentally prepared to be skinned alive. I must say I was very impressed by the compassion shown by the Veterinarian and her assistant. They felt the pain I was in and did not take advantage of my vulnerable emotional state to enrich the Blue pearl establishment, on the contrary they showed loving kindness and did not charge me anything for the examination and admission. Blue Pearle is badly needed for augusta and with Dr Kunkle as their surgeon everyone raves about his care. He is a fantastic surgeon and cares deeply. He saved our dog once already. We are about to have acl knee surgery.

Our dog was in need of emergency care for ITP, a blood disorder that sees the body’s immune system attack and destroy the blood platelets. The result is no coagulation of the blood and internal bleeding that is terminal if not treated promptly. Dr Roca and the staff at Blue Pearl in Lakewood, CO gave swift and effective treatment for 24 hours, stabilizing our dog. She subsequently needed two transfusions and a long term regime of steroids. Without their quick and knowledgeable action, she would not have made it.

In Fort Myers. Very happy with the care and staff. 4 people working the front desk. Waited a little over an hour for an emergency appointment as dog had leeching mass. Everything being taken care of. Was not charged up front for anything. He will have mass removed by them when I get back.

If you have a very sick animal, and have tried everything to save him, and having to accept that they have to be put to sleep, it is truly a nightmare! Blue Pear at 4640 Paragon Park Rd. Raleigh, NC 27616 was the most compassionate group of people we ever met, they were kind and caring under the worst circumstances. I was not happy with the outcome; it was not what we wanted; tears keep flowing to this day. I read some of these reviews, and wonder why people get so angry, maybe because it did not work out, or thought you knew more than the vets. I will end with this, if you have a sick animal, this is the place to bring them, in the middle of the night they are there. They are excellent at what they do, and hopefully you get a heathy animal back.
