Caroline
Rancid goji berries
My small bar manufacturing business has gotten rancid goji berries twice, and they won't refund our money. I have reached out multiple times:-( Correction of the record: we purchased the 1st rancid goji berries on October 8 and reported them rancid on October 30.

We would like to provide important context to ensure a fair and balanced understanding of this situation. Caroline has been a valued customer for several years, and we genuinely value long-term relationships like this, taking every concern raised by our customers seriously. Regarding the recent issue, a full refund was processed on April 21st, before we saw the complaint. This was done proactively and in good faith, reflecting our commitment to resolving concerns promptly and responsibly. In terms of product quality, while we understand the concern raised, we have not received any similar complaints from the same batch. This makes it difficult to identify a broader or consistent product issue. For clarity, as referenced in her Trustpilot comments, the same customer previously reported a similar concern in October 2025 for a July 2025 purchase, and at that time confirmed the product was in good condition upon opening. As with all natural and organic products, factors such as storage conditions and the timing of reporting can significantly impact quality, which is why we emphasize timely communication so concerns can be properly evaluated. That said, we have made consistent efforts—aligned with our standard operating procedures—to address concerns, provide appropriate resolutions, and maintain a professional working relationship. We believe in fairness for both our customers and our team and strive to provide high quality products and service to all; we are by no means perfect but always give it our best!
