Lectures can be boring. Practice exams are awesome.

The service is very helpful. Two things I would change, and they relate to the practice exam review. (1) I like how it references the source materials in the answers but how come you don't do this anywhere else? (2) It would be nice if test reviews referenced the video on your website that relates to that question/answer.

Black Spectacles practice exams really helped me get accustomed to the question format and the testing software. They taught me what to look out for and were very similar to the real thing. I recommend taking these exams multiple times to get comfortable with the material and exam timing. It paid off as I passed all 6 on the first try! If you have the extra time, the video lectures do a nice job of explaining the material as well. Good luck to all!

Useful product

I loved using Black Spectacles. I completed 4 tests in the span of two months using ONLY your study material. However, there are a few areas of potential improvement that come to mind: 1. Mike would sometimes interchange terms/names in the lectures - which was confusing when taking the practice tests. 2. There were some important terms that were only introduced in the practice tests - which resulted in lots of google searching for definitions. 3. This may seem picky, but I came across a lot of grammatical and spelling errors when taking the practice tests. It didn't change my preparation, but it felt a little unprofessional and distracting. Thanks!

This is a worth while subscription. The practice exams are very similar to the format as the actual exam which is helpful familiarize yourself with what it will actually be like in the test center. It is nice how the practice exam breaks out how your score per objective but I wish the answers also showed the objective that it falls under for reference. I thought the expert workshops were generally helpful and was a good way to talk through questions with other exam candidates. The provided vocab words are pretty standard and can be found in generally any study material. The practical application videos are 50/50 helpful/not helpful. I am not happy with the refund policy, since there is no refund for unused time, Not Cool, they only offer a credit for future subscriptions. So, I would be careful how you plan your exam schedule to make the most of the subscription you buy.

I did not utilize the Black Spectacles videos but the practice exams helped me on all 6 divisions. I passed all 6 on the first attempy. I would recommend Black spectacles as a resource for anyones ARE 5.0 journey.

Perfect simulated exams!
