signing up for auto pay then verifying $ in acct then missing payment because although you signed up for auto pay it didn't kick in is a ridicilous process

The website needs some work. I tried to add an animal, and it accepted my entries. Then, after I was completely finished, including payment, I only had one pet policy. I had to go back and do it all over again for the second pet. There was also some problem with payment not being accepted. I got no error messages, but could not submit my entry. I had to redo the entire application to get that through. I was working on my tablet. When I redid it on my desktop computer, it worked.

I would like to see some reviews of how it was using the insurance not on how easy it was to sign up. I need to hear from people who have actually used your service with their pet and how well it's excepted by your vet, or do you need to use one of your vets? To many questions not answered to sign up.

Hi Tammi, we suggest you check out our Google review page! We have many Bivvy pet parents sharing their claims experience on that platform. With Bivvy you can go to any vet. We don't use insurance cards or vet networks and give our pet parents the freedom to choose the vet they feel most comfortable with. Hi Charlotte, we're sorry to see you were confused! After signing up we send pet parents to their online portal. This is where you would log back in to file a claim, or to make a payment and check your policy documents. We don't ask for you to file a claim after you sign up, but it is an option on your dashboard for future use should your pet have an accident or illness. I can't believe you wait till after we sign up to tell people how long the waiting period is before they can use it for certain services... 12 months for orthodontics?!...you should let people know in advance...before they sign up

Hi Cathlene, we agree it should be communicated! That's why we share our waiting periods on our website prior to sign up and within the sign up flow. In the sign up flow we go over the waiting periods again on the Review Coverage page. Additionally, our 12 month orthopedic waiting period for dogs is shared consistently throughout our site too. I just signed up with no response/confirmation. Concerning share your personal info without even a response. Also, after the initial 14 day waiting period and one becomes ill or an accident occurs they still have a waiting period? Totally understand the 14 day initial waiting period, but months down the road there's another waiting period? Please clarify...Also, clarify 12 month waiting period statement. Ty

Hi Constance, we're not seeing a policy under your name. Did you use this name to sign up? You should have received a confirmation email as soon as you signed up in addition to being rerouted to your pet parent portal where you can review your policy documents. Regarding our waiting periods, they start for accidents, illnesses and orthopedic conditions on the day of sign-up. Once you've hit the day period for each waiting period, you won't go through them again in your policy year or if you renew your policy in a year. The 12-month waiting period is for orthopedic conditions. When after logging in, I went to add three cats to an existing account, it kept asking me to create a new password. I didn’t want a 2nd account so I wrote customer service. They said IT would look at it and that’s the last I heard even after contacting them a 2nd time. I finally decided to just enter the same password again twice as the “new” password and it did just add the new cats to the same account. It’s just very clunky and service wasn’t great. I hope it’s better if I actually have a claim.

After I created my account, I was unable to add an additional pet. It kept kicking me out and making me try to create a new account. I still have not been able to add that pet.
