Response from Bivvy Pet InsuranceMay 12, 2020
Hi Dan, we see your open policies for Hemi and Cummins! We're glad to offer affordable protection to your furry friends.
Kelsey
I'm sorry to say but Bivvy is not accepted at the local pet hospitals near me.im going to ask Bivvy for a refund. If I can't get one then I'll tell others to not use them.
Response from Bivvy Pet InsuranceMay 6, 2020
Hi Kelsey, with Bivvy you really can go to any vet! We reimburse our pet parents directly, not the vet, for covered care. This means your vet doesn't have to accept our coverage for you to still be reimbursed. Additionally, your first payment isn't made for 30 days, and you haven't been charged yet. We'll have a Bivvy team member reach out to help you best utilize your coverage!

Hello, we hope to turn your two-star review in to a five-star review in no time! Welcome to Bivvy.

I added 2 new puppies and later on I tried to add a 3rd pet and was unable to. It kept saying MY email address was already used. Of course it was because it was me who registered the first 2 pets. I don’t know what to do short of making up a new email.
Response from Bivvy Pet InsuranceApr 24, 2020
Hi Karin, it may be an issue with your passwords matching. You can use the same email, but you'll need to match passwords too. We'll have a customer service team member reach out to help you further!

We joined Bivvy about a month ago for our 10 year old dog, and over two weeks after we joined (at this point we were able to go to the vet if needed) and had to bring my dog to the vet. Bivvy refused to accept this claim ($300+) and said it was a preexisting condition when it was not. We cancelled and are unhappy and I am sad that my dog is no longer insured, however this was hard to deal with.

Hello, we're sorry to see you're disappointed. We work hard to transparently share what we do and don't cover and how we define pre-existing conditions prior to purchasing coverage. Like all pet insurers, if your pet showed signs or symptoms of a pre-existing condition, or if it relates to a pre-existing condition, it wouldn't be covered. If you would like coverage for future, new accidents and illnesses, please keep us in mind!
KC
Did not accept claim even though appt was on the day the benefits started.
Response from Bivvy Pet InsuranceApr 23, 2020
Hi KC, as shared in our email we do not cover pre-existing conditions, like all pet insurers. We define pre-existing as a condition that first occurred or showed clinical signs before your pet’s coverage started or end of the waiting periods. Information received indicates the services completed April 4, 2020 were due to a condition in which symptoms first appeared April 2, 2020. The policy effective date is March 4, 2020, so signs and symptoms of the condition were present prior to the end of the 30 day illness waiting period. As such, we are unable to review this charge for benefits because it is a pre-existing condition. Your Bivvy policy is structured to cover accidents and illnesses that begin after the waiting period has been completed. Please reach out if you have any additional questions!

My sign up date was wrong. Hope the rest of my service with you is better. My claim was dated April 17 and you said I joined April 18. My email says welcome on April 17.
Response from Bivvy Pet InsuranceMay 4, 2020
Hi Barbara, thanks for letting us know! We'll look in to this for you.
