Hi Rosalie, we don't use an insurance card! Instead you can go to ANY licensed vet and you'll simply send us a copy of your vet bill after. Regarding your waiting periods, you can see what they are on our site or in your pet parent account.

Hello, welcome to Bivvy! As you signed up today, you still have your waiting periods to go. It's 14-days for accidents, 30-days for illnesses and 365 days for orthopedic conditions. You can track these in your pet parent account too! We don't use insurance cards as with Bivvy you can go to any vet. We reimburse you directly!

it couldn't be easier, and it's a great price for what you get. I just adopted a new pet and they can get pretty expensive, now I know I won't have to bear all the costs if it does.
