Excellent product, I've been using it since 2017.

Overall the Service is really excellent The user interface is straightforward and easy to navigate. Although I would like to propose an enhancement to the capital gains report regarding the display of grouped transactions by date. Specifically, to have the report show both the name of the cryptocurrency and the aggregated total for each type of transaction on a given day. For example, if there were two transactions of Ethereum (ETH) on 10/10/23 — one for 1 ETH and another for 0.5 ETH — the report should ideally display 'ETH: 1.5' rather than the current 'Cryptocurrencies (long)'.

There are a lot of cumbersome, expensive, and difficult to use tools out there, but Bitcoin.tax has been by far the most efficient and straightforward tool I've found. As a novice in the crypto space, I also have many years where my transactions fell below the cost threshold, so I'm using these tools for free -- hard to beat that On top of that, the support for the product has been super responsive and helpful. Can't ask for more than that

The best and easiest software there is, easy import functions!

Treat all defi transactions as trades and bitcoin.tax will handle it. Instead of paying for some crazy expensive tax calculator tools that will most likely do a lot wrong, just create a spreadsheet in bitcoin.tax format for all your defi transactions and let it do the magic. I would recommend bitcoin.tax!

Bitcoin.Tax is far superior to the other tax documentation systems I have tried to use for my crypto. If you have ever tried to work with the transaction logs from the exchanges, you know how difficult it can be to make sense of it all, especially if you have been active in the space for a while. I find that Bitcoin.Tax software interprets the data from all of the exchanges (I've used many over the years) much more accurately, requiring less manual input from you, the user. Worth the money every time.

I've been using bitcoin.tax since 2017. I've tried almost every crypto tax software out there and bitcoin.tax is the best in the industry. The ability to select accounting method by token is one that no other software offers and has helped me optimize my taxes every year.
