Be cautious with this company
Be cautious with this company. I helped my aunt book flights with Air Canada but accidentally transposed 2 letters while adding names to our flights. Since we were within 24 hours, I told her to contact Air Canada to fix it or cancel. Unfortunately, instead of going to Air Canada’s official site, she Googled the number and ended up calling Bird Travel Agency by mistake. She spoke with Russell, who misled her into thinking she was too late for a refund and that a name change would cost over $1,000, both false. Despite my warnings to her, he convinced her to cancel our Air Canada flights and rebook with Condor, a less reliable airline with worse flight times. Russell knew she hadn’t booked through his agency but took advantage of her confusion to make a sale. While my aunt made a mistake by not verifying the number, Russell acted unethically and deceptively. I’m sharing this to warn others: always double-check the customer service number.
