Hi Ruby, Thank you very much for your purchase with Bindertek. Our 2" Binders will hold up to 300 sheets. It actually looks like you purchased our 3" which will hold up to 525 sheets. Our Ring mechanisms lock tightly and should always and only be opened by the lever arch mechanism. If the rings are ever pried apart that will break them which is the only reason they would not be snapping tightly shut. The good news is that if you ever break the rings on any of our Binders they are covered under an industry unique lifetime warranty. All of our Binder Rings are US standard spaced and all spacing and dimensions are noted. I am glad to hear that you are enjoying the Metal Binders you purchased with us! I am sorry for any misunderstanding about the range of time that orders take for delivery. Generally an order is processed the following business day. Yours was placed on a Friday evening (we are on the East Coast) and was processed on Monday morning. Delivery to you in California from us in Massachusetts is usually approximately 5-7 business days. It looks like UPS attempted delivery but they were unable to for some reason and had to re-attempt the next business day.
