I recently purchased a truck for $56,000 and was charged 18% for a buyers fee. I knew it was 18% but upon completion I still had a very difficult time getting over the fact that I had been practically robbed for $10,000 just to purchase something. This is price gouging and leaves a customer feeling very dissatisfied. I have purchased large equipment on Ritchie Brothers and my total cost for a $100,000 combine maxed out at $1540. That's fair. $10,000 for a $56,000 truck is not fair for both the buyer and the seller. I had to take the exorbitant fee into account when deciding on my high bid, so the seller definitely lost out. I would NEVER use bidspotter to sell my products.

Bought two small lots from them, was unable to get the rigging companies to communicate back with me. Auction house said it wasn’t their responsibility. So they ended up just keeping the lots, wanted to turn them in for fraud. But regardless I’d stay away from these guys as if something goes wrong they will not help at all.

Absolutely dreadful , bought a car that stated mot , upon checking there was no mot , rang auction house as the van was sold with wrong description , they’ve just said “hard luck “ STAY AWAY FROM THESE JOKERS

When you subscribe or register with bidspotter you will get bombarded with junk mail and scams. They sell your email address on.

BE AWARE WHEN BUYING FROM CERTAIN AUCTIONEERS ON THIS SITE ... I bought an item which was supposedly coming from Ireland. Item never arrived yet full of excuses as to why it has or hasn’t been sent Fortunately Nigel at Asset Auctions was very helpful and I received a full refund I recently bid on a similar item which has been sold via a different Auctioneer which turns out to be the same guy from Ireland working from a virtual office in Darlington and told to transfer the money prior to collecting? I don’t have an issue paying upfront for goods but Why would I fall for the same mistake twice when the vendor tried to scam me the first time? Something clearly didn’t add up so please be aware ... I have also seen bad reviews afterwards left for this company Explaining they have had similar experiences, so you can read for yourself!! Bidspotter please take note to these comments and assess who you decide to block a genuine bidder or a dodgy vendor !!!

I got an account to Bidspotter.com..and viewed a couple items.and put a small bid on couple., that was local. to see if my account would work.and I knew I would not win for the small bid.. and I didnt win.. but I got looking through my Bank account..And they took $500.00 out of my account! I called them.and guy said he would take care of it. And I told him ..I did NOT approve this..he said its already approved! I told him it better be back in next day.. He said he would take care of it...SO NOT STAY AWAY...
