Waste of time and money
One star because my first experience with this it was a misleading. You spent your time and fill a lot of fields to a fitting calculator only so you can find out at the end how much does it cost. Where is the transparency? That is misleading! How should you trust this people when you first interaction with them is this. I definitely do not recommend Best bike advice!

Dear website visitor. I am sorry that you did not see our pricing information. We are not trying to mislead anybody. We communicate the price on the first page of the bike fitting flow in the largest font size that we have in use. Please check it out for yourself: https://bestbikeadvice.com/gb/en/bikefitting/

Bikfitting tegen betaling
Hoogst irritant dat ze je eerst alle gegevens voor de bikefitting laten invoeren om dan helemaal aan het einde aan te geven dat je ervoor moet betalen.

nothing indicating its paid
nothing indicating its paid, so if you're landing here and make all the measurements it's asking to pay at the very end - while still collecting your data including email.

Too expensive for something that chat…
Too expensive for something that chat gpd can answer. Anytime you take it further (e.g. for searching a bike), again you have to pay. That ist not fair.

Hi Harald, I find it a little bit strange that you decide to give us a 1star review because you think chat gpt could do this as well. Should we now score any non AI activity with 1 star as soon as someone thinks AI could do that as well? If you believe chat gpt is the better option for you, please go for it. You do not have to buy our service. I personally tried chat gpt before. And it looks really impressive what chat gpt provides. But I was not able to get a suitable bike fit result out of it. It was too generic and several specifications were not clear or not correct.

You go through it all and then you have…
You go through it all and then you have to pay. Oh and then it's cheaper because you are disappointed. Pathetic.
Response from Best Bike AdviceFeb 28, 2025
Hi Jon, I'm sorry to hear that you were surprised by the cost at the end of the process. We strive to be as transparent as possible about our pricing and have taken every step to communicate it clearly upfront. The price is displayed prominently on the very first page of the bike fit, using the largest font size on our website. You can see this for yourself at https://bestbikeadvice.com/int/en/bikefitting/ . Best regards, Best Bike Advice

Waste of time
Waste of time, taking all your measurements carefully, then all useful results are behind a paywall at the very end of the process. They say they are ‘transparent’ about pricing, but there is no cost mentioned in the homepage at all, and once you click through you would have to scroll past five ‘start your fitting’ buttons before you get to any information on there being a cost.
