I was the recipient of 5/20/21 (Thurs) SHIPPED from Freeport, NY to Ocean Co NJ of Sherri Berries. Marked for FRAGILE, PERISHABLE, they arrived MIDDAY Monday, 5/24/21 via Fed Ex shipment, having OBVIOUSLY sat in a WARM TRUCK over the 90+ degrees Friday, Saturday, Sunday this past weekend. Needless to say the (supposedly) cold packs were warm, the chocolate coverings were melted/cracked & the berries starting to turn to where they COULD NOT BE EATEN! Since this was a (2 box) purchase, I feel the purchaser is due a FULL REFUND, NOT just the $20 shipping delay given. I've rec'd. Shari's Berries in the past which were OK, but THIS TIME SHIPMENT WAS UNEXCEPTABLE & would have been "refused" had they not been just "dropped at the door step, without so much as a ring of the doorbell" after 4 days!

I placed an order for birthday chocolate-covered strawberries to be delivered on Friday, 5/21/21. The order never got delivered. I contacted customer service & was offered a partial refund of $20 for the delay & was told the berries would be delivered the next day. Then I received the email confirmation for the refund & it stated the refund would be returned to me in 30-45 days. What?! I was also told the delivery would be sent to a different florist for delivery on Saturday. But they refused to tell me who the local florist was that would be delivering the berries. They told me it was company policy not to share that information. What a bunch of nonsense. I finally got an email confirmation on Saturday night stating the berries had been delivered. When I didn't hear from the recipient of the berries by last night (Sunday), I called her. She said she was home all day on Saturday & had not received any deliveries of any kind. So, not only have the berries STILL not been delivered, there is no surprise left even if the berries were to show up now. But I don't expect that to happen. The customer service agents I spoke to on the phone & corresponded with via email after a post I made on Twitter about the epic fail were all inept to say the least. The only thing they know how to do is read their script & reply with canned answers. There was not one empathetic agent or independent thinker among the many that I corresponded with. They stayed on script & that was it. What a joke! At this point in time, I will never order form Shari's Berries again & urge everyone to stay away from them. Read all the negative reviews on here & everywhere else. Spend your money elsewhere - somewhere you can speak to the business owner & know that they care. You won't get that with Shari's Berries. Stay away from Shari's Berries. The only thing they deliver is disappointment. #sharisberriesfailsagain

I ordered two boxes of candy from this place, I had one delivered to my mother and one to my aunt. The candy were birthday gifts for them. My mother received hers, my aunt didn't. I called them and they rescheduled another delivery, and believe it or not, she didn't get that one either. My aunt is elderly and broken hearted because she didn't receive her gift which makes me angry. I asked for a full refund and will NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.

I received a box of a dozen "emoji" strawberries for Mother's Day. I didn't know, certainly could not tell they were emojis. I sent my daughter a photo of what I received and she sent me a photo of what they were supposed to look like. I had a good laugh but she paid $80 for them and wasn't laughing. Sherri's Berries sent a replacement box which did look better but still not pretty. No problem, I just care about the flavor. So I started to eat them. Each of the 3 milk chocolate covered (completely covered) strawberries had fermented. The yellow covered had not. I think totally enclosing the berry with chocolate must have an unwanted result because they were inedible. I don't want another replacement. I don't ever want another of Sherri's Berries again. An expensive YUK experience.

So bad. Company has seriously gone downhill. My last two orders have been a nightmare. It may be because the contractors they use suck. Just ordered strawberries for my Mom for Mothers Day to be delivered the day after Mothers Day. No delivery. Called. Said they would be delivered Wednesday. Nope. Delivered Thursday and the ice was melted, the chocolate on the berries was melted , it was just a mess. On my last order, the berries i sent were extra small and they resent another order and the berries were better but not the same as in previous orders. Im done now. Two strikes and your out. Never again. Nor will I ever order again from 800 Flowers.com; same company

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I placed an order for my mom in plenty of time for them to be delivered before Mother's Day, something I'm very picky about. They were supposed to arrive Thursday or Friday. On Wednesday they were shipped, and on Friday night, they were still in the same place they had started - a FedEx facility in Pennsylvania. I called Shari's Berries to rectify the situation, and the call center agent was difficult to understand and wouldn't listen to what I wanted. The US call center gentlemen seemed to be more helpful, but I found out five days later did nothing - not cancel my order, not start my refund, NOTHING. The company has no system to correct errors in a timely manner, so you're just stuck with their terrible customer service. It takes hours of hold time to actually talk to someone, and when you do, they don't help. So...five days and ANOTHER customer service agent (who stopped responding to me in the chat) later, and I still can't get a confirmation that the order is canceled and refunded. The strawberries did finally arrive today...after sitting in Pennsylvania for a week. The cold packs were thawed; the strawberries were rotting, and the chocolate was melted all over the box. They were disgusting. Thankfully, Amazon was able to supply a delicious alternative for WAY less money. Shari's Berries and all of their affiliates have permanently lost a customer.

This company is HORRIBLE!!!! I had been seeing the commercials on TV and on my phone about how good these berries were. My son asked me what I wanted for Mother's Day so I said the Shari Berries!!!! Never again. I received these berries warm. There was no chill on the box anywhere and the cold pack was warm liquid. The Fed Ex man left them on porch didn't even ring the doorbell. They had been out there 1 1/2 hours before I saw them and I know this because I reviewed my ring camera. The chocolate was off all the berries and they were mushy. This was the worse service I have ever seen. Don't believe all the commercials do not order from these people. My son called them and got a refund with no problems. My first and last time asking for this mess. The people who are talking about these berries on the radio are getting paid for saying they are good so they don't really care about it.

I've used their service twice. The first time actually went very smoothly! I was pleased with how quickly they delivered the product and the quality they provided. The second time was less than stellar. The strawberries were moldy, melted, and 3 days late! I paid an extra $15 to have them delivered during their peak time before Mother's Day, which did not happen. I called and explained the situation to a customer service rep. To her credit, she was very kind and expressed her dismay at the situation. She offered to redeliver the order "free of charge" (as if I hadn't already paid lots of money for this service lol) and give me a $20 credit towards a future purchase. I told them I liked the idea of the redelivery but would prefer the $20 in refund form because I wouldn't be using their service again in the future. I was told if I didn't want to do the redelivery with the $20 credit the only other option was a 50% refund on the money I'd spent. So, in summary, they charge a lot of money for a hit and miss service and will not offer full refunds when they fail to deliver on their end of the deal and you as the customer does nothing wrong. Not a great company, so I will be looking elsewhere in the future if I use this type of service again.
