Berlioz is helping me with the French courses. Now I can do my homework on the phone.

I would highly recommend Berlitz for language instruction. I have to say that the instructors are very patient with their students. Even at 53 years of age I was able too adapt tothe Berlitz method. Keep up the great work James Kenney

The Berlitz on line offering technology leaves a lot to be desired. I am having to do this mostly on my work computer because the mobile app is not functional (can't do my program). you can use a mobile device on the web but its a bit spotty. Sometimes it recognizes the mic, not always. Sometimes you can grab (copy) text it see the translation, Not always. Even on the computer results are inconsistent. I just did two quizzes, it flashed up the heading "your results" but immediately flashed to another screen.

Good Opportunity

The team in Boston is great, you feel at home. Excellent and dynamic teachers. I loved Camelia and Janis. On the other hand the equipment is very outdated to see obsolete like the DVDs. It should definitely modernize all of this. It's the same in New York and Geneva.

The Berlitz Method is an amazing way to learn and improve on a language. I had studied this language and lived abroad, and I wish I had attended Berlitz PRIOR to going abroad -- I would have been able to use the language more, and better, and probably would have been far beyond where I am now. I attended in-person in Washington, DC. Each instructor I had (I had three for the duration of my program, I found out that each was chosen for various reasons) was amazing and each had me utilizing different skills - namely auditory as I had to listen for their unique language patterns, preferred word choices, and the like - while building on the grammar and vocabulary that they all were teaching and propelling me forward on. I ended up taking two one-week one-on-one full-day immersion lessons in my target language. I initially signed up for one week, thinking that I would just complete that one-week; however, I ended up seeing great improvement three days in, and was able to sign up for an additional week. Each instructor was patient when I needed it, and each one pushed me further. They cared about my progress. At the beginning of my lessons, they told me that if I didn't understand something, or needed something to be repeated, to let them know. They told me that this was primarily a program to improve on spoken language, and yet they didn't leave out reading, writing, and listening. We were reading short stories, news stories, watching programs, and listening to podcasts. I now have a wealth of places to visit online to continue with this progress that my instructors introduced me to. My instructors also brought or used games from the center, and kept the day moving quickly. It didn't seem daunting that I was there for the full day. To maintain my progress, and continue improving, I am also signing up for the online virtual program. However, I am looking forward to supplementing this with working again in-person or virtually with an instructor as the benefits I have gained in two short weeks are impressive.

The program crashes constantly and there is not enough listening skills. French is a difficult language to hear so I would like practice listening to French and then answering questions.
