BerlitzReviews of berlitz.com

Good material and I enjoyed the teachers. I did not find my "success coach" very helpful. I was booked in a group class, but I was the only student. When I requested the paced be slowed down the "success coach" argued with me that I was in a class. I begged the teachers to slow down and speak with their managers about the issue, but nothing changed. So I took classes elsewhere.

The instructors are always helpful and encourage us to have conversations with the new words that we learn in each class. I'm very satisfied with the classes.

As I am planning to move to France I was looking for french classes to improve my french ,that's when I found out about berlitz. I Visited their office here in tunis. The responsiveness and the courtesy of the staff was impressive . I chose the e-learning on cyberteachers. To be clear, the Tunis staff and the online teachers are amazing and I love interacting with them. However , the live classrooms ( by the reason why i chose berlitz ) are not as i expected : - 30 min is never enough if there 5 people or more : we are talking about less than 5 min per person as the teachers need to speak also - even if you join the advanced level you will find beginners and they have the right to speak which is with all respect not acceptable ( they spend more time to create a sentence ) - I was promised different teachers however I only had classes with one teacher except for a maximum of 3 times with different ones. - and the biggest disappointment is the content of classes for 3months it's the same subjects. It's the same routine : imagine hearing the same question and telling the same answers for 3 months and it's the same teachers and even the same 5 students . After a while it became boring and I'm literally not learning anything at all . i am accepting the fact that people from all lvl are learning together. I accept the fact that there is only one teacher. I actually like her a lot. She is amazing. but but but same classes no ! it's not what i paid for i even gave up going to classes lately cause honestly it's boring. I hope you will find a solution for this

Instructor was great

My instructor was seriously the BEST teacher I've had. So accommodating, so helpful- 15/5 stars! He helped me get my DLPT from a 2/2 to a 2+/3! I didn't feel stressed or overwhelmed by teachers trying to push a curriculum they don't believe in and hours of unnecessary homework. The curriculum was adapted to fit my needs and focused on remembering the words we needed not throwing a million new ones at you with a quiz every day then never seeing them again.
