Bell helmets don't meet the safety standards needed for mountain bike competitions, but are priced as though they do. Be warned, don't buy bell. Get something similar priced or cheaper that has meets safety standards.

Ordered and paid for a special order GT6 carbon helmet in March 2021. I got in touch with Bell and was told throughout the year that the helmet is being homologated etc. etc. Latest update is that production might / might not be on the way, but the special order will be 2nd priority, so still no end in sight. It's not an issue waiting for the helmet, but very disappointed that the company is taking money for an unreleased product. Racing season is starting soon, so will need to look somewhere else.
