This is a follow-up comment regarding Bellevue Publisher's business practices. Since my initial review, I have learned that the ISBN # for my first book, What If..., is bogus. Secondly, I learned that I should have received a 1099 tax form showing the amount of sales that I had for the past year, which they did not do. I repeat: do not do business with this company.

THESE PEOPLE ARE SHADY!!
These people are shady. They work really hard to get your money. They upsell you and convince you you need more than you do. Once they have your money, they ghost you. It is impossible to reach a real person. Your emails and calls will go unanswered. To top it off, they use the self publishing platform, Ingram Sparks. They convinced me I should use them for my illustrations. They told me my illustrations I already had were not up to par, even though they were. I paid them $1500 for the illustrations and they provided me with AI artwork. The dog in my story had a squirrel tail and rabbit ears. When I complained they provided me with a new AI generated image that was garbage.
DO NOT HIRE THEM. THEY ARE FRAUDS!!!!

I would never recommend this company…
I would never recommend this company from out of the US, to service anyone. Although my book is a great true story, they made a mess out of my book. They left out a whole chapter, after being published, do not let them ever write a screenplay, as they don’t even follow the story contents. A lot is AI, no proofreading, and if you dispute their charges. They refuse to complete your services. An example of this is I paid 11,000 for marketing which started last May, and should take place to May of 2026. They are extremely unprofessional yet charge enormous fees, that are not worth this kind of money.

A Scam of A Company
My experience with Bellevue Publishers has been deeply disappointing and ultimately unacceptable.
I was passed between multiple project managers throughout the process, which led to poor communication, inconsistent direction, and a complete lack of continuity. At no point did anyone take real ownership of my project. It became clear that there was no quality control—illustrations were submitted without any internal review, and glaring errors were somehow approved and sent to me. At one point, illustrations of human characters had six fingers—an obvious sign of careless, AI-generated art.
Even after I raised multiple concerns, I was repeatedly promised improvements and given reassurances that things would be fixed. Yet with each new version, the problems persisted. Promises were made, staff were shuffled, and delays continued—but the results never met even the most basic standards of professionalism or artistic competence.
Despite my patience and willingness to work through the issues, nothing ever truly improved. I lost all confidence in Bellevue’s ability to deliver and I’ve decided to completely abandon this project and seek other methods of completing my highly personal project.
There is no scenario in which I would trust Bellevue Publishers with another opportunity. I requested a refund, despite whatever effort they’ve expended, to compensate for the headache dealing with this company has been.
I would strongly caution other authors—especially those writing children’s books—not to trust Bellevue Publishers with their creative work.

Absolute Scam!
Absolute Scam!
I know it is exciting to publish your book and you really want to sell a lot of copies. Bellevue Publishers, through Chris Anderson, promised me they would be able to sell my book. They even wrote me a contract guaranteeing they would sell enough books to cover my investment or they would refund my money. After more than a year of zero results, empty promises, switching "project managers", and even being told I was being unfair because I wasn't giving them enough time due to the previous project manager failing, I requested my money back. I even went as far as sending them a demand letter from an attorney. They never refunded my money and have stopped responding to me.
Save yourself a lot of time and money and DO NOT engage with anyone at Bellevue - no matter how convincing they sound. Pretty sure the company isn't even a real company.

HAUNTED HOUSE PUBLISHING COMPANY
THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL, THEY LIE, AND STALL, AND MAKE APPOINTMENTS AND NEVER SHOW UP. AMERICAN PEOPLE WHO DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH THAN LESS THAN AMERICAN STANDARDS OF BUSINESS, PLEASE FIND AN AMERICAN EXCELLENT COMPANY TO WORK WITH. IF YOU WANT ONE LET ME KNOW, I KNOW A GUY WHO IS GREAT. THIS PLACE IS A HAUNTED HOUSE JUST LIKE ONE OF THE LADIES SAID. I HAVE BEEN THROUGH HELL AND HARDACHE. CHRIS IS A NASTY LIAR, AND ABUSIVE VERBALLY. HE ASK FOR YOUR MONEY SWEETLY THAN TURN INTO A HAUNTED DEVIL. I HAVE BEEN WITH ONE BOOK FOR 6 MONTHS WITH THIS COMPANY AND MY BOOK IS STILL NOT DONE. NO ONE IS AMERICAN AND SCAM'S. I CAN SEE WHY TRUMP WANTS THEM OUT. I LIKE ALL PEOPLE JUST STOP THE LIES, GAMES AND SCAMS. MY ENGLISH IS BETTER THAN MY EDITOR. I AM COLLEGE GRADUATE YET I EXPECT THEIR PUBLISHING EDITING TO BE BETTER THAN MINE. I AM CORRECTING THEM. FOLKS, STAY AWAY AND REPORT THEM TO THE BBB.
