BeLiteWeight made it really easy to get wls. Here in Kansas there's tons of hoops to jump through to get wls. From start to finish it took about 3 months, and would of been less time had I not had to get cardiovascular clearance for an abnormal scan (I was fine but they took extra precautions). I traveled from Kansas to Vegas. I enjoyed the tourism to have the Surgery. Thankfully I had insurance coverage for my procedure so I could do this in the states but BeLiteWeight also offers help with getting the surgery in Mexico as well for those without insurance coverage. They helped me gather all paperwork, with getting my psych eval done, my nutrition and records of weightloss, and would of also covered my stay & rides for the surgery as well although I choose to stay elsewhere because I had accommodations prearranged as I stayed in Vegas for 2 weeks prior to my surgery to visit Las Vegas. It's now been 2 years since the surgery and I've lost over 100 lbs and have just got approved for my skin surgery as well. I went from a size 26 to 14 currently, and after skin removal will most likely be down to 8-10 sizes. I wish I could show you the before and after shots!

Surgery Date 01/31/2020 Juarez,Mexico Scheduling& Q&A: I have nothing but great things to say about this group. I had a fantastic experience! I started looking into this in Aug of '19 but was nervous and uneasy about the "Mexico" experience. I finally reached out to JoAnne & Jaime in Nov. '19 to get information I was uneasy about and to get a few questions answered. they were so helpful and very knowledgeable of the procedures and not one time did they say " Let me get back to you" my questions were answered right there and then. Mexico Experience: My dad drove me to the Hospital, so I opt out of the ride service they offer. We had no problems Checking into the Hospital, everyone was helpful and friendly.. fluent in English. Everyone I have spoken with about my hospital experience I have told them I prefer the Hospital Stay and Staff over any hospital I have been in here in the US. I have stayed in several due to a car accident and these guys were on top of everything, Contently checking in on me and my dad making sure we both had everything we needed. Pro-Op starting weight was 328lbs, 10 days before surgery, Surgery date 320lbs, 1 week Post-Op 298.. I want to thank Ms.Jaime has been great, checking in and helping me out with my Post-Op Diet and answering my questions. I look FWD to seeing my future results. THANK YOU ALL for a great experience. When I decided to have the weight loss surgery I used Belite Weight. Joanne and Jamie have been so helpful throughout the entire process. I choose to go alone. With that being said Jamie said there were others that were going to be there as well. I meet up with others and we kinda cheered each other on. The hospital was so above what I was expecting. The doctors were amazing. The staff what to assist. I never had to ask for my pain medication. The nurses were on top of that. I had an awesome experience and highly recommend this facility and the staff.

I arrived Friday 1/24/20 to El Paso intl airport long term parking. I contacted my driver and within minutes he met my wife and I at our vehicle. We loaded up and headed to cross the border. The ride to the hospital was approximately 35-40 minutes including the time it takes to cross the border. We arrived at the hospital Angeles which ended up only being 5.8 miles from our vehicle parked at the airport. The driver escorted us in and took us directly to admissions. A brief wait (15 minutes) for them to prepare the paperwork and have me sign it. As soon as I was done with that, our hospital PR rep was ready and waiting to escort us to my room. Once we got to the room and got settled the radiology tech came and escorted me to get an x ray. I was escorted back to the room and shortly after a nurse came in to draw blood for preliminary testing. No poking, prodding or digging. She hit the vain the first time. Barely felt it. These people know what they’re doing. Next came dinner. Following all preliminary tests your given the freedom to eat anything you’d like for your “last meal”. The PR rep came back to the room and helped us order our food and went and picked it up for us as well. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from Applebee’s, Carl’s Jr. to name a couple. Moving on. Next came the iv following dinner and they nailed it again first time. By the way the room is as nice of a room as you’d expect to see at any hospital in the US. Maybe a bit nicer. There is a futon and recliner for your guest. I might suggest to take your own pillow as the hospital pillows are not too comfortable as if any hospital pillows are. Fast forward to Saturday morning 1/25/20 surgery day. The nurse came and got me from the room at 11:00 am and rolled me down to the pre op room. I got some pre anesthesia medicine to begin relaxation. I don’t think I remember being moved to the OR but I do remember when I got in the OR having to move onto the operating table. There was several doctors around me. The next thing I remember is waking up in recovery. At approximately 2:00 pm. I sat there for about 1 hr 15 min before being wheeled back to my room in my hospital bed by my nurse. Once back to the room it was approximately 4.25 hrs from the time I had left for surgery. The only real pain was the air they have to blow you up with. And it was more of a discomfort than pain. Once your back in the room you can sit up immediately and begin moving about carefully. Walking helps with the discomfort of the gas in your body. Next you’ll get some ice chips to start getting fluids in. Meals following surgery will be chicken broth, green jello, a cup of hot water with a chamomile tea bag and some sort of fruit juice. I didn’t care for the jello or broth. I’m just not a broth fan anyways. The warm water was awesome for being able to take some sips and learn how to drink with my new tool. The last night I stayed was Sunday and was released Monday morning I asked for the driver to be there at 8 am and he was at my door at 8am sharp. He escorted us down to the vehicle and we headed back across to our vehicle. The ride back across was approximately 1hr to our vehicle with having to wait briefly at the border. Take your passport if you have one even if it’s expired. They would rather have that than your birth certificate. I know from experience lol. Anyways I have no issues with my experience overall. Of course the language barrier was felt slightly. But all of the nurses have google translate on their phones to communicate if you just cannot figure out what they are saying. They were all very nice and polite. Trash was emptied 2x a day from the room. And everything in the hospital was very clean and tidy. Like I said earlier no regrets. As good or better care as I have ever received state side. If your on the fence. I hope this helps in your decision.

Asked a ton of questions, was consistently messaging someone to ask more questions, never treated rudely and always replied to. It was a new experience for me and my family because my husband and I had it the same day. We have been blessed with this experience and love the beliteweight team. They still talk to us a year out and help with anything we may need. I encourage anyone looking into it, to really see it as an option and a good one at that.

The first person I encountered was the driver to take me to the hospital. He was very friendly and professional. I had several flight delays and cancellations that caused me to be 5 hours late but he was right on time. He never left my side until I was properly checked in and handled all the translations as the English speaking staff had mostly gone home for the day. The doctors were fantastic. They answered all the questions I had before and after surgery. They were on top of my care and pain management. They cared for me as a team and discussed my needs with each other before making a decision. The staff and nurses at the hospital were very aware and attentive to my needs. They controlled the pain and were helpful in marking decisions such as when to remove the IV. The hospital was clean and well kept. There was a constant flow of cleaning people to tidy the room and bathroom and handle all the garbage cans. The halls were kept clean and Warm tea was always available. There was coffee as well But I didn’t have any so cannot speak to that. I was pleasantly surprised how much English speaking staff was available to help me. The communication barrier was a concern for me going down but I really feel like their was little to no issues with that for the entirety of my stay. I would have no trouble recommending to friends and family and actually already have.

I had my Revision from lap band to the sleeve 2 years ago. It is by far the best decision I have made. I have lost around 80lbs and have maintained that. I flew into Elpaso, TX and the hospital picked me and my husband up there and took us the 20 miles or so into Juarez Mexico. The driver was very friendly and made us feel comfortable with our decision to go here for this. The hospital was very nice and clean and the staff went above and beyond for us to make us comfortable. My husband got to stay in my room with me the whole time. Surgery went great, the nurses and doctor were great!! Belite continues to follow my journey to make sure I have no concerns I get calls texts and emails checking up on me. I can also reach out to them anytime.
