I've always had a weight problem growing up and coming from a family where obesity is a problem, I was grateful to come upon Beliteweight. JoAnne was able to help me through the process. Dr. Rod and his team are the best. The best bed-side manners and made me feel at home. Today I'm so ever grateful to be healthy and do the things I was not able to do before. Thank you Beliteweight and Dr. Rod for the new me!!

I had been thinking about weight loss surgery for severrel years, but my insurance would not cover it, and I could not handle the cost. I googled affordable weight loss surgery and Beliteweight came up. After much research I contacted them by email, and JoAnne almost immediately called me back. After much prayer and research, I made the decision to have the surgery in Juarez. It could not have gone better! Jami held my hand during the pre op phase with the paperwork, diet, and scheduling. Whenever I had a question, it was always answered promptly. I was scheduled for surgery the same day I arrived in El Paso on Monday, July 4. When my plane landed, the shuttle driver called me before I had deplaned. 30 minutes later, we were at the hospital, 20 minutes after that, my wife and I were in our very nice and spacious room. I was promptly taken for blood work and x-rays. I was then taken down for the surgery. The surgeon and anesthesiologist(who both spoke very good English) explained everything in detail, and the next thing I know, I wake up in my room with my beautiful wife's face looking down at me. This was about 6:00 PM. At 11. I was up and walking the halls. I had heard language barriers could be an issue, and most of the nurses spoke little or no English, but they were so nice that it did not matter, I just pointed and played a little charades, and we always could communicate. (as a side note, when the nurses came in at night to change liquids, etc, they used the flashlights on their cell phones to see so they did not have to turn on the light and disturb us. That never happens in the US hospitals) I was discharged on Wednesday, shuttle took us across the border, and we came home. I went to work on Thursday. I know that this has been a long post, and I'm sorry about that, but there is so much more to tell. But I will just end it by saying, EVERYTHING that JoAnne and Jamie promised, they delivered. If your serious about getting the procedure done, and a lot cheaper with no sacrifice in quality, let them do it! Thank-you Mitch Jacobs Memphis. TN.

The process with BeLite is without a doubt...top notch. Everything went smoothly and with no difficulties. From arrival to departure, we met no obstacles. The staff at the hospital was professional, careful and had great knowledge. I was looked after by several nurses, a mental health worker, nutritionist and four doctors. Every concern was addressed from pre to post op, and I'm still able to ask any questions with prompt and thorough responses. This procedure is not one to be taken lightly, but once you decide, BeLite would be without a doubt, my recommendation. Do your homework...you won't find a bad review about this company and it's surgeons. You will only discover that they are the best, and have done many more procedures than many doctors in any other country.

I went into this experience knowing what it entailed. I knew several people who went through it with BeLiteWeight previously. I was treated well, the staff was friendly, and the surgery went great. It has been a few months now, and I have lost over 50 pounds and the weight is still coming off.

I had the gastric sleeve done Nov. 13th, and it was the best decision of my life. I went from 216 lbs down to 161 lbs in 6 months. I have not had any complications with any part...from the pre-op diet, post-op diet, to final days now. I am back to enjoying life again!
