Wow where do I begin? I ordered a shirt to be delivered to the UK and the following day I receive an invoice from UPS saying the parcel is in the UK ((16 hours after I placed the order so I think superman must have sent it) and they want £144 import tax - a third of the value of the shirt! Bodega stated the value on the invoice as $470 when it had cost $453 including shipping. I don't know what they have to gain by lying on the invoice but it makes them look dodgy or inefficient. When I contacted Bodega about the inflated shipping costs they went straight into defensive mode and were very rude and aggressive. They said if I don't pay the import duty I would not get a refund and also wouldn't get the shirt. They were just trying to use bully tactics on me but luckily I paid with Paypal, who eventually sorted out a refund. They sell some good clothes but it's not really worth the risk! My advice would be use Paypal and if you are not happy with their invoice or import tax don't sign for the parcel. In the end I was refunded by PayPal and the jacket went to abandonment meaning Bodega never got the jacket back . All down to really bad customer service

When you place an International Order you not only have to pay our fee for shipping and the product but separately the import fee when it gets to you from your country. We state this on our site. If you do not pay then the delivery goes to abandonment and you receive neither the order nor a refund. Also we checked on your order and the invoice was accurate.

Horrible online shopping experience at this store. Product detail pages DO NOT STATE that discounted items are final sale, and it IS NOT shown in the checkout flow even though support staff state it is. The Returns FAQ is poorly worded and does not make this clear. This is not the norm with other online retailers. Extremely inflexible support staff completely unwilling to help find a solution. Do yourself a favor and find a merchant that cares about their customers -- AVOID BODEGA.

Gareth, all items that are posted with a slash thru one price and next to it a lower price are sale items. Sale items are final sale. This is worded on our site in the FAQs (https://bdgastore.com/pages/frequently-asked-questions), on the sale section itself, and finally at check out.

If I could give this store a great big 0 stars I would. Appalling to deal with all the way through! I wish I had read all of the other bad reviews before ordering from them!!! Do not order from them! Hoka kindly have dealt with all of the problems I had with this store as I bought Hoka shoes. UPDATE after reading Bodegas reply. I bought 2 pair of shoes in the size recommended. They were to big so needed to exchange them not return them. I was charged $12+ for the original shipping, they took well over a week to get to me. Bodega would not let me exchange in the store and said i couldn’t exchange one pair (that were not on sale) and had to send the other back at my expense! They are disgraceful!!!! Update to your Update! No words needed. Your update speaks for itself.

Hi Debbie, you bought a pair of slides labeled on the product page as final sale. This warning text also was at check out and you are not happy about this fact when you asked to then return. UPDATE: Debbie, the situations you are describing are situations we have policies set up to manage. Nothing wrong, it just sounds like frustration and not being properly informed on our policies. Please refer to all our policies noted on our website to help future usage: https://bdgastore.com/pages/frequently-asked-questions

I made a purchase on the Bodega website for delivery in Brazil UPS refused the package and returned it to the sender I contacted by email they didn't explain the reason for the return and they said they can't resend my purchase so I asked for my refund after I asked for my refund they didn't answer me but neither in the email nor in the website chat and they blocked me on instagram in my email only the store sales advertisement arrives

Our website clearly states that International orders that are not picked up by the receiver or the receiver doesn't connect with the carrier upon arrival will go directly to abandonment and the receiver will not get the order nor the payment back.

First time order from the store, for Europe they say thay ship all the package with UPS,I order and they sent my package with USPS, I contact support why is that and how is that possible because on the site says only ship via UPS and I pay 45€ for shiping with UPS and they send me with USPS I contact and what to get refund for shipping or that the ship my shoes with UPS and last message from the support was “ The order will not be cancelled and the order is shipping via USPS...this is the end of this.. if you continue to email we will just block your email.” how you can block email from your buyer and change shiping company? I look all the site and I don’t found anything about shiping with USPS in europa They wrote in review that they ship intentionally with multiple company but on your site just wrote INTERNATIONAL WITH UPS!!! UPDATE on site says 4-6 days shiping in EU with ups Now it’s 10 days with USPS shiping didn’t come ,I pay 45€ for shiping and online support says that I need to contact usps ,for f… 45€ you need to get my package express ….worst store I ever order

Hi there, anytime we ship an International package the customer is responsible for the import tariff that their country charges upon delivery.. this is stated on our site. This tariff is not about us .. it's the country's and it's separate from anything the customer pays us. Also, concerning International carriers.. we mostly use UPS as stated on our site but unforeseen issues come up and we use other carriers as we see fit.

Decided to try Bodega’s online store for the first time. I purchased a bag and it took a week for them to process the item only to cancel/refund my order because it wasn’t in stock. I was kind of relieved about it after reading so many negative reviews with Bodega’s shipping/return. However, I was equally annoyed as I could’ve purchase the bag elsewhere. I would avoid using their online store. Their online inventory system seems like a joke.

Actual fraudulent store. UPS misdelivered my shoe shipment and the company asked me to contact ups and complain to them. Never heard from either of them again. Did not get refunded. Did not get shoes.

Hi there and sorry to hear. If your package is lost, we always ask for the customer to file a lost package claim with the carrier. They will then investigate and let us know after their investigation that we can then refund you. Please go file that claim and then email us the claim number you are given to [email protected]
