Basis Pet (Not Basic Pet)Reviews of basispet.com

My 4 month old Frenchie likes his new bowls. I found the medium bowl to be the perfect size and also ordered a large for when he reaches adult size. Fast shipping as well!

I love shopping USA products and companies. I purchased and received a set of stainless, non-toxic, non-radioactive pet bowls. They arrived quickly and just as ordered. I also ordered a bamboo coaster for the bowls. I mistakenly ordered only one coaster for the bowls, but after receiving the bowls realized they fit perfectly in the pet feeder I already owned. I emailed for a return label for the coaster. Mike responded the same day and credited my account ASAP. Customer service is where it's at. Thank you Mike and Basis Pet for providing both quality and service in the USA.

We love the Made in the USA Stainless Steel Dog Bowls and Stay Put! Pet Bowl Holder!

I LOVE your dog bowls so much that I've ordered many many of them!!! As a veterinarian, I only want the best products for my pets (kids!)! Now that I have discovered your bowls, I will only use them.....Great quality, style and the most important part...I'm assured that they are safe. Your service and communication has been top notch as well as your quick delivery times. My only suggestion- more products! I would like to see more USA safe toys, ie balls that are soft in the mouth and safe for the teeth, for example. I do not like all of the "rope" options as these can fray and create gastrointestinal foreign bodies, so I never use them in my own pets. How about some elevated feeders (they DO NOT cause bloat!!) for your bowls and some good quality thick orthopedic beds? Just some suggestions. Thanks for everything-- you are doing a fabulous job! Would order more often if you had a larger selection of items. :)

I have ordered antlers before, they are usually small and expensive but I was happily surprised that the antlers I ordered from Basis were bigger than I expected:) I am also totally thrilled with the quality of the stainless steel bowls especially since I am sick of using bowls made in India and China:( I am not as thrilled with the plastic bowl holders, while they are sturdy and do hold the bowl in place they are just sort of a pain to piece together when you have hungry dogs leaping around wanting their meal. Overall though I would absolutely order from them again and was totally amazed at how quickly I got my order:)

For years I have been looking for human grade stainless steel for my dogs. I was delighted to find Basis Pet. I was very impressed with the background and research the company has done on ensuring that the metal used is tested to the highest safety standards available. On top of that the company delivered the bowls, which are beautiful, on time and accompanying the bowls was a very nice note from the owner with his number and email saying to contact him if I had any issues or questions. My experience could not have been better with Basis Pet and I plan on purchasing bowls in the future

I had searched for good quality bowls for my cat for some time now, and I finally ordered two from Basis Pet (although this first order was through a third party). I have an older cat who needs a lot of water, but the problem was that he kept knocking over his water bowl. The bowls that I received came in a very timely manner and are of good quality. Even the small bowl holds enough water for him, without my having to fill it several times a day. But he still tried to knock it over. So I went to Basis Pet's website and ordered the coasters for the bowls. I received these also in a timely manner, and they have worked wonders. He is drinking the water and cannot knock them over. Yes, you can buy cheaper bowls other places, but through Basis Pet you are paying for good quality, MADE IN THE USA, easy to clean, stainless steel, pet friendly products. Thank you very much.

We ordered two large bowls for our pup. We have used many over the years and I must say that these were very heavy duty and well put together. Our dog loves the round bottom on them and even though he has been a picky eater for years he has been cleaning them out ( I am wondering if he finds the shape easier to eat out of). I also highly recommend the hemp rope tugs. Our gordon setter brings his to bed with him and they have held up very well! I will certainly be supporting Basis Pet in the future. Thanks
