Basis Pet (Not Basic Pet)Reviews of basispet.com

A solid experience. High quality product, high quality customer service. Prompt and thoughtful response to my queries. An investment in these dishes is recommended. A joy to use. Great flat shape for cat dishes, their whiskers never touch the dish, which can put some cats off using their food dishes. 5 stars!

I recently bought 2 dog bowls from Basis Pet, along with the basic stands. I was impressed with the amount of info about the products that was available on the website, which helped me to make an informed decision and feel good about the product I was buying. I was also impressed with the customer service, as I received both orders in the mail very quickly. I have only been using the products for about a week now, but my first impression is that they seem to be sturdy, high quality products. I'm excited to have found a company that puts such great care into creating safe products for our pets!

All I wanted were some nice, simple bowls for my cats. No breakable ceramic, no unsanitary plastics, no questionable metals...how hard could that be? Hard enough, it seems, but luckily I found Basis Pat's web site. They had exactly what I was looking for, and a lovely web shopping experience to boot! Nice design, easy to use/navigate; a shining example of how to make for a pleasant experience. Not only are the bowls exactly what I was looking for, but I really appreciate the way the owner stands behind his products. I like doing business with people like him, and am happy to recommend him and his web site unconditionally.

These are the best bowls you'll ever find, hands down. I just recently got a mini dachshund puppy and couldn't find anything I liked or trusted in the local stores. The small bowls are the perfect size for his food, and I think I'll be ordering a set of the medium bowls next just so there is more room for water. Shipping was super fast as well, I placed my order on a Saturday and they arrived the following Wednesday! Thanks so much Basis Pet for providing such a great quality, safe product made in the U.S.

The bowls are wonderful and so easy to clean. Made in America---no more made in China for me.

I wanted to get the right size dish for my Maine Coon kitten: One that he could enjoy now, but that would continue to serve him when he grew into his full size. I emailed my query and Mike gave me a fast, compassionate answer. In the end the size I selected was perfect, but I really felt that if I had to make an exchange it would have been hassle-free.

This is a great company and run by someone who really cares about what he is offering to the public. Their products are first-rate and most importantly SAFE for our pets! I have bought several of their stainless steel bowls and they are quite impressive (just compare them to ones that are typically sold in stores- there is no comparison). Basis Pet bowls are heavy - unlike the flimsy, thin ones you find elsewhere - with a really nice brushed finish. But best of all, they are made in the USA! And tested! It's comforting to know the good food and pure water that I feed my dog is not going to have horrible chemicals leeching into it from the bowl! I also bought the Rise Pet Bowl Stand and again, was very happy at the quality of it! Obviously a lot of thought put into it - made from FDA and NSF listed food contact safe HDPE plastic, free from phthalates and BPA. That was important to me since my dog not only likes to lick the bowl clean, but anything the bowl sits in! A breeze to clean too! This stand is solid and does not move around when it is being used. You cannot go wrong with any of the Basis Pet products! I HIGHLY recommend them! (And no, I do not work for this company, I just really like their products!)
