All the teachers are very nice. Most speak English and Spanish. Great way to learn practice Spanish

My instructor Laura is very accommodating. We talk in Spanish about. My everyday experiences. She is gentle with correcting my errors and posts them so that I can add them to my flash card for future review.

I studied Spanish with Baselang for almost a year starting in the grammarless program and moving to real world. Every teacher there is fabulous and the atmosphere is super welcoming and it feels like having coffee with a friend. Very comfortable and helpful in so many ways. I have taken Spanish in a few places but did not have nearly as good of an experience as I did with Baselang in Medellin.

I am 3 weeks into Baselang. Overall it’s been a really good experience. The positives are the access to a teacher for 1:1 instruction at any time during the day, and a structured lesson progression, which I like. Some teachers are great. The negatives: Some teachers are not good. I felt a bit lost initially and the teachers are only responsible for getting you through a specific 30 minute class. “You can do whatever you like.” is a common response when I inquired about any course recommendations. The “orientation zoom” was very basic. In my opinion, Baselang would be an excellent site if someone was able to offer minimal guidance & critique your plan of action, in essence have a stake in the successful outcome of you speaking Spanish.

Extraordinary experience and platform. The combination of online lessons, exercises and tests with one-to-one interaction with native speakers is fabulous. I highly recommend it.

I have found the quality of the instructors for the most part, excellent - in particular, Daniela. I prefer studying with Mexican instructors as I live in Mexico, however there are too few available. Competition to book sessions can be fierce. I am particularly impressed with some instructor's command of the grammar and their ability to explain in depth the "how's" and "why's" of the Spanish grammar.
