Beautiful complex! Very clean.. rooms are very neat and well put together. I love that they have washers and dryers inside your complex that you lease. The full kitchen is a must, for people like myself who love to cook while traveling. Everything at your fingertips including the customer service teams. I love the fact that they check on you throughout your stay!

They have VERY good rates for longer periods of time! and costumer service is always responsive no matter the time specially in times of emergencies.

The unit was clean and met all expectations. Overall it was a good experience. There was some slight miscommunication when it came to booking pricing. The Pointe residents were told upon signing a lease that you would receive one free night at Barsala if you needed to book somewhere for friends and family to stay when coming in town. This was not honored due to ‘seasonality’, however, we received a 2BR instead of 1 and were granted early check-in. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience.

I have stayed with Barsala at the 600 in Birmingham 3 times now. The property is perfectly located for my work and also beautiful. The customer service is mind blowingly awful. I wont be back. First stay I was locked out of the building. They fixed it after an hour. It was hot as hades and I had groceries. I have never heard back when texting their local support number. After the first visit they said “oh, that is the wrong number” but then proceeded to give me that same number for my other stays. Fridge broke and i e melted all over the floor. They sent someone after 24 hours but never fixed it. All my food had to be thrown away. No acknowledgement, no apology. Check in time is 5pm…ridiculous. I paid $99 to check in at 3, got here, no code for check in, 95 degrees, 3 people plus luggage standing outside, text them for the code and they say “ we don’t accommodate early check in”. They still have my money. Also, they advertise amenities (gym, rooftop deck) on Marriotts website but they don’t give you access. Only stay with Barsala if you like a nice property but don’t care at all about sevice.

Emily and the Barsala staff are amazing. Having stayed here multiple times, I have never had any issues. Emily is always available and handles any concerns before they become problems. Highly recommended.
