Ordered a single, personally written book to be custom printed as a gift. This wasn't meant for sale, just personal use. B&N Press had no issue taking my money, but they could not ship the order. UPS rejected the order at the warehouse every time, immediately marking it as "return to sender" before it left the mailroom. I tried multiple addresses, but each time it was rejected - B&N Press customer service could not tell me why the item was rejected or what was wrong with the addresses. The customer service was impossible to deal with, taking days to respond to messages. I had paid for expedited shipping, but it's now been almost a month and the order is still incomplete.

I am very grateful to have had the chance of working with B&N publishing they have been orderly and timely with my requests that has led up to my first book being released now I am into my second book, and I cannot say how pleased I am with their courteous service.

This company is a scam. They pretended to be associated with Barnes and Noble, a self-publishing platform. They supposedly designed a cover for the book, proofread the book, and completed the corrections for three months, from September to December 2025. Then they said the book would be ready for publication once I purchased 2 ISBNs from them. Then they disappeared. I was unable to contact anyone using all of the contact information that I had.

They act like scammers and turns out they don’t even print books after all the work you could go through. All I did was inquire about their services and I was spammed by multiple numbers. I asked repeatedly to get taken off their contacting list. After the last time I had told someone this, they responded “you’re the one who is broke and wants to be an author?” Then, after trying to speak to customer service on their website to leave a review or report their behavior, I was given more horrible treatment by the chat agent. They told me I was somehow “not telling the truth” and couldn’t even type in proper English.

Barnes Noble Self Publishing took my rough drafts, shook them up with their editing skills, and voila. Now I realize why my coauthors’ camaraderie was going all crazy for this top-rated self-publishing platform.
