My mom and I have been buying Bare Minerals products since I can remember. We’re in the middle of the color scale, and now this company is switching up and only catering to the lightest of the light skin tones. First, I went to buy my sheer finish pressed powder in my normal shade a couple of weeks back on Amazon, and there were only three shades of white available (that was strike one). Today, Good Morning America had a 50% off sale and there were only certain shades for everything as well. My mom called and spoke with a supervisor of Bare Minerals and asked if she could get the same deal in our hue and was told that she couldn’t accommodate her and that the sale was only for the shades covered on the show. As successful black women who’ve supported your company for 20+ years we hear you loud and clear and are taking our business elsewhere.

Poor service on my very first order. My lip gloss had a different color sticker on the bottom than the color band around the tube and the gloss itself. As well as on my face. Service agent Shane explained to me that how I was incorrect about the color even when I sent in photos. There was ZERO effort at any type of relationship building. I bought a whole set of makeup for my wedding. I will never do business with them again as I will not spend my literal blood, sweat, and tears earned money on companies who could care less about my existence or experience. I switched to INIKIA Organic. MUCH more in tune with a woman’s shopping experience, especially for her wedding.

Several years ago I bought a BareMinerals Ready Bronzer which I hadn't used and kept it in my bedroom cupboard. When I finally went to use it, the case is all sticky. I tried cleaning it but I can't get rid of the stickiness. It's even difficult to remove it from my hands after touching the case. I contacted the company and they said over time, certain cosmetic packaging materials can break down, especially if stored for several years, which can cause the case to become tacky or sticky. They ignored me there on.

I have been using Light 20 neutral in 16+ hours Barepro foundation for a long time. This has been changed to 24+ hours and I ordered usual colour via Boots website. When it came it seemed to be a different colour. I contacted Bare Minerals telling them I’d bought this via Boots. They suggested I apply the old colour and the new version of the colour and send them a photo. I did this and then Bare Minerals said they couldn’t help me as I had purchased via Boots! Now Boots won’t take the item back as it’s been opened!

The ingredients of the BUTTER DRENCH CREAM on the Bare Minerals website are entirely different from the ingredients on the Ulta website. The cream I have the same ingredients as the Ulta's ingredients list. So how come these lists are entorely different? Yet I do not see a "Reformulation" note?? This is shady!!! Cannot trust this brand's ingredients!

The website SUCKS!

I purchased the tinted moisturizer. I thought I might have good luck with this brand as when I was younger, I absolutely loved the powdered foundation that is in the little jars. It was beautiful. However I'm now 49 and my skin doesn't look good with heavy liquid foundation. Which is what this products amounts too. It goes on thick, looks cakey and all together looks terrible. ON ME. If you are seeking a full coverage foundation with a moisturizing quality, you may like this product. However I feel the label as a "tinted moisturizer" is misleading. It's a full coverage foundation.

I have never written a bad review but has anyone else been as unhappy with the new owner of BareMinerals as I have. Since Orveon acquired BareMInerals I have had to wait 5 months to use my "Diamond status Good Rewards and I noticed that my previous total had been reduced by about 1000 points and my purchases made since January 1, 2023 do not show on my Good Rewards nor my order history. Very disappointed in BareMInerals and how they have treated their long time customers. I have not been able to get an explanation from their customer service.
