Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely regret the disappointment and frustration caused during your Patagonia O Trek experience. You are absolutely right that accommodation details are an important part of any trip, especially on a demanding trek where proper expectations and packing are essential. In your case, we made an error in the initial confirmation regarding the refugio accommodations, and we understand how this affected your overall experience. While the final trip documents sent prior to departure did include the updated accommodation details, we recognize that this does not change the fact that the earlier information created understandable expectations. We should have highlighted the change more clearly and proactively to ensure there was no room for confusion. We are also sorry to hear that you became unwell during the trek and that the journey was not the experience you had envisioned. Please know that your feedback is being taken seriously internally. We are reviewing our confirmation and pre-departure communication processes so that any future changes to key trip elements, especially accommodation types, are made unmistakably clear well in advance. We appreciate that you chose to travel with us and are genuinely sorry that we fell short on this occasion.

Thank you for taking the time to share this, Ulla. We’re truly sorry that your Bolivia trip left you feeling unsafe and frustrated, especially on the journeys between Uyuni, Potosí and Sucre. We completely understand how distressing that must have been, and we appreciate you explaining your concerns so clearly. Travel infrastructure in Bolivia can be very different from neighbouring countries like Peru, particularly when it comes to long-distance road travel. The transport used is part of the local bus network that operates throughout the country, and while this reflects the on-the-ground reality, it’s clear that it didn’t meet your expectations or comfort levels. That said, we take your feedback seriously and will be reviewing the quality and suitability of the transport suppliers involved in much more detail with our local partners. Communication delays and the hotel information you mentioned are also not acceptable, and we’re sorry this added to your experience. Your safety should always feel like a priority, and we’re sorry you didn’t feel supported at that moment. If you’re open to it, we’d welcome the chance to review this properly with our customer care team. Thank you again for being honest with us, as feedback like yours helps us improve how we support travellers in destinations like Bolivia. – The Bamba Team

Dear Svetlana, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback about your recent 4-day East Coast USA tour booked via TourHub with Bamba Travel. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate you taking the time to highlight these specific issues. We understand your disappointment regarding the group size and organisation at the meeting point. The tour, as listed on TourHub, references a small group, but as we clarified before your departure, this particular journey was operated by our trusted partner, Amadeo, with a group size larger than originally indicated—typically 25-50 people. We strive for transparency, but it’s clear the tour listing on TourHub suggested a different group size, which understandably led to confusion and frustration. Regarding your concerns about communication, guide language, and itinerary changes, we know a seamless travel experience is essential. We’re disappointed that the transition between buses and guides, as well as the brief return to New York, were not communicated as thoroughly as they should have been. Your feedback will be shared with both Amadeo and our team to help us support better coordination and clearer information in the future. Bamba Travel is committed to responsible travel and delivering authentic experiences wherever possible, whether through our tailor-made trips or carefully selected partners. We also support local economies and work to match each guest with the most suitable operator for their chosen itinerary. In this case, we regret that the experience did not meet your—or our—high standards. If you would like to discuss your experience further, or if there is anything we can do to help resolve outstanding concerns, please contact us directly at [email protected]. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we hope to restore your confidence for any future adventures. Thank you again for sharing your feedback. Safe travels on your next journey. The Bamba Team
