I normally don’t post things like this, but I feel like other parents and students deserve a heads up about my experience with Balfour. We ordered my daughter’s class ring on February 12. Yes, we may have cut it a little close on timing, but the biggest issue here is the complete lack of communication. Since February 13, the tracker has shown it “in production” with zero updates. I even emailed for an update and never got a response. I called on March 26—still “in production.” Called again April 13 and was finally told (for the FIRST time) that the ring had actually been rejected during inspection back in mid-March. No one ever communicated that. I was told it would be expedited and overnighted. I even reached out to the local rep, who could only offer an empty box… and suggested putting my own class ring in it. Now here we are—April 20, just days before her ring ceremony—and I’m being told it might not ship until Friday or even Monday. So instead of having her ring for one of the most memorable moments of her junior year, she’ll have an empty box for pictures with her friends. This isn’t just a delay—it’s a complete lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through. I had to chase every update, and even then, I wasn’t given the full story until weeks later. If you’re considering ordering, I would strongly recommend asking a lot of questions and staying on top of your order—because communication was nonexistent in our case. Really disappointed that such an important milestone moment has been affected like this.
