These people are complete idiots. Sent in a 1989 college ring that was in natural gold, and all they did was polish and put the antique finish on the ring, which was noted in BOLD, DO NOT PUT THE ANTIQUE FINISH ON THE RING, in the letter sent with the ring. They must not have read the instructions on the letter. If you have a choice for a college ring, don't go through Balfour regardless of whether your school is engaged with them or not. Gone are the days of customer service with Balfour due to the good reps all retiring.

I live in Central Maine, I'm a 65 year old male and retirement military. I must say that I really dislike the fact that my commencement ring from the University of Maine Augusta is about the size of just a fraction of a size bigger than the female ring, really??!! They won't allow me to get a signet ring they give me some crap about they in the school agree on this is how the ring should look like they totally refuse my input except for the engraving total crap now I'm stuck with a ring that looks like it was made for a female. It's not even a unisex rain it's a male ring and looks so small and frail. Well at least I got my degree, or at least I didn't get my physical degree certificate from Balfour thank God!

Do not order anything from this company. I ordered a frame and immediately canceled it (5 mins later), but they said they could not do so. I talked to a representative and they said return it when you receive it. Spoiler alert, I received the frame 1 month passed its estimated delivery date. I was already pissed, and come to find out I have to pay over 100$ just to ship it back to them. Company is a complete scam and does not care about its customers.

Ordered a frame for my diploma. Asked for a status update since it was approaching the timeline date and was met with a response of "We still have a couple days". Followed up once it was 2 weeks past the arrival date and was told I could cancel or wait. Not super helpful considering somehow they are the only supplier allowed to use my schools updated seal. So continued to wait. Finally got the frame and the diploma didn't even fit! the cutout was too small to fit the diploma correctly.

We ordered a frame from them and the experience has been horrible. No customer service. They actually asked me to call their vendor to find out the staus. Never returned email to give status. Waiting on hold for ever to speak to someone. Do not order from these guys. Its a waist of time. All the bad reviews are spot on with our experience.

Buyer beware ordering a ring from Balfour. I ordered a Balfour college ring from the representative at my university to celebrate a PhD. The ring was promised for graduation and purchased in plenty of time. Every time I called to inquire, I was told processing was delayed due to a large volume of sales. Shouldn’t a company in existence as long as they have been expected that at graduation season? Two weeks after graduation, it’s finally here. Family members who purchased it were left without a gift they bought long ago to give their loved one at graduation. But that’s not the best part. Engraving promised was the school name. My college has a six letter name, not a long one, which is there, followed by Univ. Who abbreviates university that way? If I would have known that was the case I would have used the university name’s abbreviation. PhD? They wrote it in script so it’s basically unreadable. Highly disappointed Balfour, especially after waiting so long for it. Sorry I trusted you with my money and trusted you would deliver a quality product.

They stole my credit card info and tried to use it. I KNOW this because I gave them a credit card number to a credit card a NEVER use and right after they charged me for my cap, I received notifications for fraudulent charges and had to cancel that card. THIEVES!!!!

My graduation is 3 days away and when i called last week i was told to expect it on Friday or Monday because it will be on expedited shipping. I called them today and they have no information about my order. DO NOT USE THEM, they will mess-up your big day. I do not know why they are still operating.
