I bought direct from manufacturer vs Amazon to avoid amazon “getting a cut”. I wish the shipment could have went out faster because of it.

This has saved my lower back and my knees from picking up walnuts on our 5 acres. The product does a good job and I’m hoping will withstand the test of time as it is made out of mostly plastic. (I had high hopes that it would look like I had vacuumed the yard, but it’s not quite that good.) Because our yard is not completely flat, I find that the baskets pop out of place and tip upside down, losing all of the walnuts that were just picked up , and have to be corrected often. I feel like it was extremely costly for what it is. We’ve been able to use it for about a week now.

I ordered the 18in pecan nut picker upper and that thing works amazing I have 12 huge pecan trees on my property and had a bumper crop this year one thing about it this thing will pick up every in your yard sticks leaf’s dog poo you name it if it is in the yard it will get picked up but works well I have picked up over 200 pounds of nuts so far this year with it

Seems like it works. We have used it a couple times testing it. It seems like you have to do multiple passes to get most of the pecans picked up. I think it should have added a little more weight to it so it can get more pecans Without doing multiple passes.

Even though the product I chose was not right for my purposes, the return was easy, friendly and my refund prompt. I was favorably impressed by their customer service.

I purchased the 18" Nut Harvester for picking up Hickory Nuts from several trees in my backyard. The product is lightweight for ease of pushing or picking up to store in the shed. It will pick up more than hickory nuts such as acorns, hickory nut shells, as well as sticks and leaves. I was just looking for a device that would eliminate the constant bending over to pick up nuts or reduce the amount of nuts that go through the mower blade. Obviously it won't pick up shells or nuts that are imbedded into the ground but will pick up most everything laying on top. It may take a few passes. I like this was made in America product and I was able to supported US based business.

The only reason I'm leaving a 4 and not a 5 is that we have tried the bag-a-nut and it has worked well but it hasn't really been tested since most of the acorns are still on the tree. We would like to leave a review this fall after all the nuts have fallen. We do have a suggestion regarding your packaging. When the bag-a-nut arrived some of the fingers on the roller had punctured the box in which the machine was shipped. This is something for you to investigate because it has the potential to really harm the machine. Updated review 9/4/2020 My husband has used the Bag-a-Nut several times now and he is thrilled with the results he has gotten. The machine works superbly and has really saved his back from raking and hand-picking the acorns. Definitely we would give this a 5+.
