This machine is overated it only picks up half the gumballs and way over priced. If I would of known that I would have not payed over 500 dollars for it my lawn sweeper does a much better job then it does! And cost me less then 100 dollars.

It would probably work if there were no leaves and stems. But you don't just get nuts. The rake gets clogged almost immediately and has picked up very few nuts. I ended up having to hand rake. It also can't maneuver in tight places. You can't back up with it! It was a waste of a lot of money. Maybe in a perfect world. So disappointed ☹️

I purchased Bag-a-nut to remove acorns from thick zoysia grass. It worked ok but required weights and a lot of passes. Then I purchased a good leaf blower for about the same price and it did much better and was easier to operate. And the leaf blower can be used for other tasks as well. Bag-A-Nut has no use other than picking up nuts.

We installed new sod recently and I thought the Bag-A-Nut would be a good way to keep the acorns off the new grass. I've found it to be a total waste of time. It leaves more of the acorns than it picks up and does more to imbed the ones left than to help. I'm sure there may be some lawns with very short grass that it may be effective with, but that hasn't been our experience. I regret that I didn't get it returned within the terms of my purchase.

As expensive as this was I still thought it would be worth it if it worked however it doesn’t work at all only for very large ones . It takes longer using this then picking up by hands- just going to return or dispute since not as described - what a waste and doesn’t work in lawns even with short cut and trimmed ones. In reply to below; I know the difference between the husk and the nut and I was trying to pick up the husks which failed and you refunded HOWEVER shipping to and from was not so I spent $22 on a useless product that was shipped back

The bag a nut picks up more sticks and leave stems tha pecans. It works great on carpet or concrete if the surfaces only have pecans. Very disappointed

I spent way too much money for a product that does not work as advertised. I bought a leaf blower to move the leaves so that it could harvest the pecans. It didn't work as the advertisement shows. Waste of my money. I wish I would've never spent. Easier to just use a pecan roller.
