Choose your coach accordingly…
Update because my review was flagged as defamatory… Nothing in my review was fabricated or defamatory. It was an opinion based on a documented firsthand interaction. To clarify a few things in response to Bach Performance’s reply: At no point did I ever claim to be a paying client or receive “coaching” services from Bach Performance. My review was specifically about professionalism and conduct after an interaction initiated by Eric himself. Yes, I commented on a paid advertisement discussing a fitness app (SHRED) which I l have personally used to lose weight, improve my physique, and compete on stage for the first time in four different divisions. People searching for ways to better themselves deserve to know there are alternatives that do not require spending thousands of dollars on online “coaching”. What’s interesting is the level of victim mentality he has displayed over someone mentioning another option in the comments of a PAID ad I was served. Instead of simply ignoring it or responding professionally, Eric chose to DM me calling my physique “mid,” (which is clearly not the case…) then wants publicly frame himself as the victim afterward. If your response to someone mentioning another fitness option is emotional DMs, review flagging, and public victim narratives…people can decide for themselves whether that reflects confidence, professionalism, and leadership. Consumers can decide for themselves whether that reflects the type of professionalism they want from a “coach” or mentor. Original review: PSA: After a simple comment on a paid ad about a Fitness app I used to lose weight, get in shape and compete on stage at a national level. Eric, an alleged online fitness coach, who is supposed to be there to lift others up and inspire people decided to send me a DM calling my physique "mid"... Leadership and coaching is about accountability, respect, and results...not ego. Decide accordingly.
Response from Bach PerformanceMay 11, 2026
Charlie has never been a client of Bach Performance. No program purchased, no coaching engagement, no service rendered. What actually happened: Charlie posted comments on multiple Bach Performance paid ads steering our audience to SHRED, a competing fitness app he promotes by name and price, and links to across all his social media platforms as an affiliate offer. Same pitch, multiple ads, screenshots saved. He also publicly called our business a scam while commenting on our organic content. I sent him a private DM. It was one word reply to a post saying, "mid." Nothing else. Not a coaching interaction, because Charlie is not and never has been a client. That is the full context. Posting affiliate pitches for a competing app in the comment section of our paid ads is bush league. Continuing to do it on our organic posts is... weird. Filing a one-star review on a platform you've never been a customer of is worse. For anyone evaluating us on real client experience: 3,000+ clients coached since 2012, including pro athletes across the NFL, NBA, and NHL. This review has been flagged with Trustpilot for not reflecting a genuine customer experience.
