I got this dipolar when I was about 10 weeks knowing I may not be able to hear anything. It did take me awhile to find it at first, but I was able to hear the heartbeat that early. As I have progressed in pregnancy, it has gotten even easier to find. The only negative is I don't think the rate counter is always accurate as the numbers don't always match (and sometimes not even close) to the actual beats per minute as I have counted. The position of the baby may play a role in that and as long as I can hear I don't care if it is off. This gives me peace of mine that everything is going well. I would recommend this product.
