I love the reassurance I get from finding my baby's heartbeat, and it makes my husband feel very connected as well since he doesn't get to experience all the other joys of pregnancy. I first started trying to find the HB at 8 weeks and 1 day, and was able to find it at 8 weeks and 4 days. I think I was looking in the wrong area for the first couple of days, or perhaps it was just too early. I can find it every day now, easily!
