This is a great product but nervous moms beware, I was not able to detect a heartbeat until 16 weeks. We tried hearing the heartbeat as early as 9-10 weeks as some users have reported but were not able to find it until much later. That being said, we've had a wonderful experience with this doppler, especially when I had a bit of a scare and early contractions. Hearing the baby's heartbeat put us at ease without having to rely on going to the doctor.

I got this Doppler at about 10 weeks. It took me a while the first time, but found the heartbeat after 5-10 minutes. After that it got a little easier but still took a few minutes. I'm now 12 weeks and can easily find it within seconds. Works great to hear, only downfall is the numbers on the screen are NEVER correct, not even close. So don't rely on that. Also if you plan to use this more than a handful of times, get an extra bottle of gel. Overall this product works great though and I would recommend it to others.
