This was really fun to use while we were having our baby. I'd say to be patient when using it as it can take time to find the heartbeat. Id say to wait until you're 18-20 weeks before you try to use it. When we first used it we heard the placenta not the heartbeat so again waiting until you have the appointment with your Dr when they use a doppler would help you know the difference.

It work great I got it to try out on my friend when she was about 11 weeks and even then we found the heartbeat it was small but definitely there once we found have continued using it and still love it
