You need to be very patient and learn how to properly use the machine. But it’s a good one.

Better to use later in pregnancy( second trimester) when the baby is a little bigger. It took a few try’s to find the baby’s heartbeat and definitely had to go lower than I thought but have loved it to hear the baby’s heart beat since I can’t feel him yet. I wouldn’t freak out if you can’t find the heart beat it definitely took a while and you have to be at the right angle.

Works great, it is a little weaker than I would like in it's detection but I think this is more due to the legal/medical limitations (3mhz) of it being an at home Doppler. Other than that the 3 different modes are very helpful for discerning the babies heartbeats. I can vouch it works for twins just after 12wks. We tried a different one previously and we're unhappy with it's quality and our babydoppler just shows we were right to find a new one. Thanks the wife loves the peace of mind it brings!

The product is great and I'm very happy with the purchase. However, it doesn't capture the heart rate accurately.

Sometimes it's easy to pick up baby's heartbeat and other times it takes a few minutes. It picks up other sounds such as your heartbeat, gas, uterus movement but when it does pick up baby you can definitely tell the difference as baby's heartbeat is faster. When using turn volume down as it is loud when trying to find heartbeat. Then when you see the heart symbol, turn up volume. I like that this monitor is small and comes with lubricant.
