The product arrived quickly and was advertised. I was unable to hear a heartbeat until 16 weeks but that is fairly usual and nothing to do with the product. We've found the quality gets better and better, however it can be quite crackily at times with no sound and then it changes, almost like an electrical fault.

I bought this without doing research on its safety and possible complications. I used it three times and was able to hear a heartbeat. While I was online looking up info about home fetal Doppler’s I came across some articles from the FDA saying these were not safe for consumers to use at home. Further research showed that these can cause overheating and cavitation as well. I have not used it since.

It's cute, it came early. However, I'll be 18 weeks pregnant on tomorrow with twins and I've never been able to find a heartbeat. Therefore, I can't rate it completely. It maybe, that I simply don't know what I'm doing.

Works great in gives a lot of reassurance and peace of mind however a side effect is all the background noise from the machine the speaker system

I just bought the Doppler so that I could hear my baby’s heartbeat throughout the pregnancy! I love it but, the heartbeat monitor does not work. It will suggest different heartbeat paces and never settles on one that’s even close to another. The sound part works great and that’s all I really needed it for.

I thought it arrived very quickly and was so excited but after two weeks of gentle use and it has broken. I followed instructions explicitly and it is so static no matter how much gel I use now it is totally unusable and impossible to hear anything else besides the static. This is with headphones and also without as I thought at first it was my headphones that were broken. I also tried two other pairs and nope, nothing but static. Very frustrated that I spent this much on it and it broke before I even got halfway through my pregnancy. I had one when pregnant before (not this brand) and never experienced this. Very bummed out and am not sure how to go about getting a refund.

I received my doppler in a timely manner. Problem is the volume doesn't get loud at all. Have to make sure the room is absolutely quiet if hubby wants to hear it. Otherwise, I have to hold it up to my ear to hear. Disappointed for $50.

I haven't been able to find my baby's heartbeat with this even at 18 weeks, but that's probably not the fault of the device, as even when I go in to my OB, she has a hard time finding it. Apparently my little one moves a lot. That said, the number is extremely unreliable. I used it to find my own heartbeat, and the reading fluctuated between 80's and 120's very rapidly.
