The doppler does not measure the number of heart beats per minute.

It’s hard to use and the gel it came with is itchy

Although it was fast shipping we have not heard the baby’s actual heartbeat. All we have heard is swooshing sounds like water..I even tried it on myself and I’m not pregnant but again it was the same exact sound.

Had a hard time at first

So first off, this doppler has brought me a wonderful amount of comfort being able to find my baby's heart beat. I was able to find her heart beat quickly and enjoyed listening to her! The reason I gave the doppler three stars is for two main reasons. 1) I paid for two day shipping and didn't receive it within two days. It actually took about four, and that's counting only business days. 2) I have had issues with the doppler itself. I'm still able to use it for the most part. But it seems like maybe there is an issue with the cord or wiring? It will be very quiet to where you can't hear anything. I move the cord around and then it starts working again. So far I've been able to get the sound back so it isn't completely faulty, but it certainly shouldn't be happening. Aside from these two things, I still am so happy to be able to hear my baby.

Would not recommend paying the extra money for faster shipping. I paid the extra money to have it shipped faster and it did not come any faster. For reference I was ordering to southern Alberta, ordered on Wednesday and did not receive till Tuesday the next week. Just stick with the regular free shipping!

I like the Doppler overall, but the measuring of the heart rate is not accurate enough to do anything with. It always measures between 116-125. I have only gotten one accurate reading of 162 which matches what the doctor gets when I see her every two weeks since I am a high risk patient. Overall it is great and I use to daily to hear my little ones heart beating fast and to get that reassurance at the end of my long days.

I'm 11 weeks but I can't hear a heartbeat because my uterus is tilted. Also, I'm having twins so not sure how I would be able to differentiate the two heart beats when I actually can hear it.
