The heart rate is never accurate with what is displayed. Otherwise served the purpose of being able to hear/identify baby’s heart beat.

This is affordable and it had good reviews from women in my chat group. It arrived quickly and in good condition. But for me, it didn’t work. I’m 16 weeks and I couldn’t hear a thing. However, my placenta is in the front and my baby is back behind it. My doctor tells me this will probably stop me from feeling any kicks until at least 20 weeks. When I go to the doctors office I can hear the heartbeat right away, so I thought buying this would calm my nerves as I wait to feel my baby move. But it actually made me MORE nervous because I couldn’t hear a thing. It may work for you if your placenta is in the back or if your baby is in a different position. For me the microphone was just not strong enough.

Very hard to use on one's self. Trying to check heart beat of myself to make sure I didn't go back into A fib. Wish there was a product that one can strap to either chest, wrist, or arm that can monitor the heart beat and show it your in normal heart beat

Does an ok job interpreting a heart tone. Product is sensitive to other body sounds, possibly bowels. When other sounds are detected, heart tones tend to diminish significantly and sometimes hard to reacquire. One thing to keep in mind is the heart rate count on the display and what is heard is all position based. So if it’s not dead center on wherever the best tone is heard, the rate may not be fully accurate. Other body sounds also tend to produce a squelch effect that can be quite loud if the volume is all the way up. Overall it’s a decent product for a passive interpreting device. Nice to have for occasional use but what is heard or seen for a rate should only be taken as a suggestion pending a physicians office using an actual Doppler.

I know where my baby's heart is thanks to my prenatal appointments so i can always find his heartbeat quickly. The problem is that the heartbeat mostly comes out sounding like background noise and the heartrate shown is not close to what it is at my drs office. I chalk this up to my drs doppler being at 7hertz vs this one at 3hertz and also my placenta being at the front of my baby bump. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase as i can still make out my baby's heartbeat and this eases my anxiety. My husband and i are so excited.

It’s a nice product. But it’s not really plus size friendly.
