Brief I.
Children’s Hour
The starting point is that we need another boutique-brand men’s underwear company like we need another hole in our heads. There is an abundance of virtually indistinguishable options. I have tried many of these boxer-briefs and other options and have not found a significant difference. In fact, I once was friendly with a top executive with an underwear company. That guy told me that one factory manufactures all of the underwear for every company. The aggressively Gen Z ‘tude of Awry makes that name ironically apt. The 32 year-old founder in Austin (aka Southwest Brooklyn) considers himself an artiste but offers nothing new, His “oops” collection indicates an attempt to skimp on the literal material quality. The pretense of hands-on customer service is another bone of contention. I wrote only to never hear back. Further, any company telephone number is as well concealed as the direct e-mail of the guy who started it all. I am not interested in supporting a company that is not spectacular to begin with and does not comprehend basic courtesy let alone customer-service basics.
