Multiple issues in linking accounts: fails to recognize correct credentials for Marriot; when using one set of Capital One credentials, it tries to link to another Capital One account, and I can't get it to refer to the correct one; fails to pull Ultimate Rewards points for one set of Chase credentials. Great idea, but execution needs to be better.

Hi Theodore, we’re sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience with AwardWallet.
For Capital One, the connection is handled through an official OAuth integration, which means we are not screen-scraping your account data. After you authenticate directly with Capital One, they send the account information to us securely. If the wrong account was linked, our support team can help resolve that pretty quickly.
I also checked our Marriott and Chase integrations, and both are currently working normally, including Chase Ultimate Rewards tracking. It sounds like there may be an account-specific issue, and our support team would be happy to investigate and help get everything working correctly for you.
Please reach out to us through https://awardwallet.com/contact and we’ll do our best to make this right.

Growing Disappointment with AwardWallet’s Declining Service
I was once a loyal supporter of AwardWallet and happily paid for its services when it offered something truly unique. However, lately, the platform has become increasingly unreliable—failing to track most accounts, constantly throwing errors, and displaying warnings, likely due to widespread MFA adoption. Even the Chrome extension, a key feature, no longer functions as it should.
If AwardWallet believes a significant price increase is justified, then the quality of service should at least match that expectation. Instead, most features are now broken, making it frustrating to continue paying for a service that no longer delivers. What was once a valuable tool has become a source of disappointment. They are more expensive than Netflix in India, it no longer a need now.

Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and I’m truly sorry to hear about the frustration you’ve experienced.
We completely rebuilt our Chrome extension as Version 3 and rolled it out at the end of last year. It’s now far more reliable, stable, and fully supports modern MFA flows—so if you’re still seeing errors or tracking issues, it sounds like you might be on an older build. Could you please reach out to our support team at https://awardwallet.com/contact or via the in-app menu? We’ll make sure you’re upgraded to the latest version and troubleshoot any remaining account-tracking hiccups.
Regarding our recent price adjustment—from $30 to $50 per year—it wasn’t a decision we took lightly. The change helps us continue investing in core functionality (like the v3 extension), server infrastructure, and new features. However, that doesn’t excuse any gaps in our service. We’d love the chance to make this right for you.
If you give us the opportunity, we’ll work with you directly to get everything running smoothly again. Once we’ve resolved your issues, we hope you’ll consider updating your review to reflect your experience with our newest release.
Thank you again for your patience and for being an early supporter of AwardWallet. We look forward to restoring your confidence in our service!

Site doesn't work and I feel like I was scammed
I've been a subscriber for nearly a decade and every year the site loses more and more functionality, to the point that in my latest attempt, none of my accounts updated at all, despite following their complicated instructions.
Recently I had a unexpected charge on my credit card for my subscription than was 400% higher than my usual yearly rate. When I subscribed initially I did because I was told I would be locking in the current rate and would be grandfathered in to that rate as long as I remained a subscriber. They didn't honor this agreement, instead referring to a technicality in their terms and conditions that said they could raise the price whenever they wanted, despite any agreements or promises they might have made to their customers. I feel like I got scammed, and regret having been a loyal customer for such a long time, even when their site barely works.
I can't believe this site will stay in business for much longer, and a simple Excel sheet actually works better for tracking miles.

Hi LS,
We’re sorry to hear that you feel this way. We want to clarify that the price increase from $10 to $49.99 per year was communicated well in advance. We sent multiple emails to all users, posted about it on our blog, and provided over a month’s notice to ensure transparency.
We also offer a no-questions-asked refund if a user is not satisfied, as our goal is to provide value, not frustration.
Regarding functionality, we continue to add new features and enhancements, not remove them. While some services rely on external factors beyond our control, we actively work to improve AwardWallet's capabilities.
We appreciate your nearly decade-long support and understand that price changes can be frustrating. If you’d like to discuss this further or request a refund, please reach out to our support team.
Best,
AwardWallet Team

Do not bother use this service anymore (Previously: Best way to track all your rewards - Excellent Customer Service)
April 2025 Update - Downgrading from 5 star to 1 star. The decided to increase the cost 5-fold in the name of providing better service but in reality the service has gone downhill, calendar sync is broken and updates on major programs are broken for months and the team doesn't bother to fix them, support is not following up on the reported issues. Also most websites now incorporate 2FA which means no more automatic updates and an extra manual step when updating.
Given the bad experience, the increased cost, many users are abanding the service, is probably best to avoid setting up an account until is clear how this plays out... It's a shame as I really liked the service!
Awardwallet is the best way to track all your rewards accounts! Many super useful features and excellent customer service. Customers get quick and effective responses from Paulina, who is always helpful for all your queries and feedback.

Hi Kyriakos,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm very sorry to hear about your disappointment — especially as a long-time user who once found great value in our service. I’d like to address the points you raised and clarify some of the concerns:
Pricing Update
We increased the price of AwardWallet Plus from $30 to $49.99 last year due to the rising costs of maintaining and supporting the service. This decision wasn’t made lightly, and it wasn’t tied to any specific feature launch. We’ve continued to invest in infrastructure, support, and feature enhancements — but the pricing reflects broader operational realities, not a promise of immediate new features.
Calendar Sync
You reported the calendar sync issue to our support team less than 30 minutes before posting this review. We’d appreciate the opportunity to fully investigate before it’s publicly characterized as a systemic failure. Based on initial assessment, it’s likely related to how your calendar software fetches updates. Different platforms (Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.) poll for data at varying intervals, and in many cases, the issue can be resolved by forcing a refresh or waiting for the calendar to update. If you share which calendar software you're using, we’d be glad to take a closer look.
2FA and Account Syncing
You’re right — 2FA is becoming more widespread, and it does introduce new complexity. However, we’ve built workarounds:
* You can link your email inbox, and AwardWallet will retrieve 2FA codes automatically.
* If inbox linking isn’t viable, Gmail users can set up automatic email forwarding to allow AwardWallet to read the codes. We provide step-by-step instructions here: https://awardwallet.com/gmail-forwarding
While not perfect, these methods help preserve automatic syncing even in a 2FA-heavy environment.
User Abandonment
We understand your frustration, but the statement that "many users are abandoning AwardWallet" isn’t supported by data. In fact, we continue to see strong engagement and a loyal user base.
We value your feedback, and we truly regret that your experience has shifted so significantly.
