I posted a review against an attorney…
I posted a review against an attorney to warn the public. This was the review can’t figure out why Avvo would remove it. The attorney did get in touch with them and probably made a threat because he knows how it would harm him in the truth would come out so Avvo. let him get away with that It’s a good thing it’s 2026 and we have so many other ways of spreading the word. Let the buyer beware…..Everything was public records and documented and they went ahead and removed it when they should have left it there it was against Kevin Gleason in Hollywood Factually Documented Disciplinary Record — Public Awareness
As a 30-year professional in the real estate industry, I prioritize consumer protection and ethical standards. My review is based on direct, firsthand experience sitting across from Kevin Gleason in a legal matter involving a property title, where he has filed a formal Notice of Appearance (Doc 55) in Federal Bankruptcy Court (Case No. 26-11637-EPK).
Before anyone engages this firm, they should review his verified public record. In 2011, Mr. Gleason was the subject of an historic en banc disciplinary sanction by the South Florida bankruptcy judiciary. Federal court records confirm he was suspended for 60 days for filing unprofessional pleadings insulting a federal judge and subsequently attempting an improper ex-parte communication by sending a bottle of wine to the judge’s chambers (See In re Kevin Christopher Gleason, No. 12-11433, 11th Cir. 2012).
Today, he is utilizing his license to represent unregistered foreign entities attempting to maintain expired, legally void liens to extract financial settlements from vulnerable property owners.
Truth and public court records are absolute. Do your due diligence, check the federal dockets, and look past polished PR.

My experience with Avvo was a complete…
My experience with Avvo was a complete waste of money. I signed up hoping to generate new clients for my law practice, but despite paying approximately $400 per month, I received absolutely no benefit and did not obtain a single client through the service. The platform is unnecessarily complicated and requires a significant investment of time just to learn how to use it effectively. Instead of helping me market my practice, it felt like I needed to take a course simply to understand the system. To make matters worse, if you decide the service is not working and want to cancel before the contract term ends, the fees and penalties are so substantial that you might as well keep paying for a service that is producing no results. That appears to be by design. Between the high monthly cost, steep learning curve, lack of results, and expensive cancellation terms, I found Avvo to be an extremely poor value and would not recommend it based on my experience.

ALBER FIRM. Michael J Alber, P. C. Huntington Station, NY
I made the difficult decision to terminate my attorney after a year of representation and more than $20,000 in legal fees—with little to no meaningful progress on my case.
Throughout the process, I experienced repeated instances where direct questions were not answered transparently. Instead, I was often told, “you don’t understand procedure,” which felt dismissive rather than informative. As a client, I expected clear communication and guidance, not deflection.
I also never received a complete client file. The majority of the documents I ultimately obtained were through NYSCEF filings—many of which I had submitted myself while proceeding pro se at times. This was extremely concerning.
There was also a lack of consistency in staffing. I worked with three different paralegals over the course of my case, which disrupted continuity and added to the confusion. Additionally, two invoices appeared on the final day of representation that had never been previously issued and still do not appear in the client portal.
Overall, my experience with this firm was disorganized and unprofessional. I did not feel that my case was handled with the level of attention, transparency, or competence that such a serious matter requires.

Grateful to the Sasser law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina
My family and I are very grateful to the Sasser law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina, who have persisted with my daughter's insurance-based claim for disability. The firm has monitored her case for nearly 2 1/2 decades to a positive ruling. The Sasser firm has never failed to apply a comprehensive intelligence and knowledge of the law. We give Max Sasser and his team the highest rating possible.

Avvo deletes most negative reviews
Avvo deletes most negative reviews. It even approves some and then removes them if the lawyer files a dispute. It is not a trustworthy platform. Due to its behavior and tendency to remove negative reviews, its rating system is meaningless. Do not trust anything on that website.
