Have asked for a quote through Atlas Ocean Voyage website and did not receive any reply. My email did not get any reply either. I submitted several request on Avoya Website to get contacted by them and so far, after a few days, no one contacted me. I contacted them on Instagram and they told me to call an American number. I am from Europe and calling an international number is expensive. Weird that there is no reliable contact available.

I directly contacted Atlas Ocean Voyages cruise line with the telephone number on their website but my call was directed to an Avoya agent, Janel F. At first she was thrilled to work with me. Once the booking was complete, she was worthless and none of the promised shipboard credits or amenities she told me I was getting were given to me. I even turned over 3 additional bookings to her and those bookings were all in the most expensive suites on the yacht. They all received their shipboard credit. I requested a starboard side suite. She put in writing that I was booked in a starboard suite. I was in a port side suite. While on the cruise I tried to work with their reception who had no proof of any shipboard credit being given to me by Avoya. I contacted the agent, Janel and she became argumentative, basically upset with me for bothering her. One of the couples that booked with her needed to have a wheelchair on board. Janel was adament that the cruise line did not offer that assistance and became upset with me when I sent her a copy of the Atlas brochure stating that they had wheelchairs upon request prior to the cruise. That couple did not have a wheelchair waiting for them and I had to work with Atlas to make sure one was provided, which they graciously accommodated. So, not only did I NOT get my promised amenities, I had to do her work to help my friends.

During this past week i addressed an email to Mr Brad Anderson CEO of Avoya Travel. The issue regarded a deposit of $200 made in May '24 during a Celebrity cruise in the Fjords for a cruise which we had planned to take at the end of October this year. Circumstances regrettably prevented us from finalizing and I informed my agent to request that Celebrity transfer the deposit to a different cruise early in '25 only to be told that the deposit was NON REFUNDABLE. We are Elite status on Celebrity and I have booked with Avoya since 2007 and therefore addressed a letter to the CEO's of both Celebrity Cruises as well as Avoya in the belief that for the sake of goodwill the issue would be resolved but the reply from a girl called Mary at Celebrity underlined the NON REFUNDABLE basis of the deposit and the matter was closed. Will i ever make another booking with Avoya Travel - you bet NOT

I can’t believe any reputable company allows these people to represent them. All I asked for was a brochure for a river cruise and within 3 hours I’d received 2 phone calls and a neverending email that tried to scare me into booking immediately because they’re so in demand I may never find any availability. Well guess what. I did. But I used AAA and got exactly what I wanted without the harassment, haranguing and bullying. I get these agents work on commission but that’s no excuse for their rudeness, for their bullying, or for their complete lack of integrity or respect for the companies they work for or the customers they’re supposed to serve.

Why am I getting emails from you. I never subscribed, never used your services. I have clicked unsunscribe about 10 times now.

Booked thru an agency relying on them to take the stress off but they doubled the stress. After all deposits were made we got lack of response, lack of clear communication, late communication, itineraries messed up, misquoted balances and late arrival of paperwork for part of our travel party. I would not recommend Avoya travel as a travel agent and will not be using in the future.

Avoya Travel is the worst agency I have ever experienced. They will lie and misrepresent their services and the packages they offer. They hire lawyers and scam artists only. They provided no customer service. Once they pressure you to sign their book long paper work you will never here from them again unless it is to threaten you with a lawsuit. Use any other agency and you will be better off.

Agent missed emails about flights for an Oceania Cruise. We missed the deadline to change the flights or customize. My elderly parents were on a separate flight and they had us arriving at the airport after the cruise ship began boarding. We paid out of pocket to buy tickets for the day before all on the same flight. In addition, she failed to forward emails to notifying us that the dining reservations had opened up and we missed priority dining reservations. When my father had to cancel for medical reasons, we could not get documentation from them for the insurance company. They sent multiple copies of my mom's new reservation for one but nothing with my dad's name listed as a cancellation. As of now, we are not getting reimbursed even though we spent over $800 on insurance because we cannot get the proper paperwork form the agent. I contacted customer service multiple times. I have spent hours on hold and they only told me the agent was independent and they could do nothing about it. As of now, we are out almost $6000 in cruise costs, additional airfare and useless insurance.
