Avoid at All Costs!!! This company operates with zero integrity. We booked an apartment for a 12-night stay, made a payment, and received a confirmation. Then, without warning, explanation, or even a courtesy message, they cancelled the booking 15 days later. No reason was given. Even worse, within 15 minutes of the cancellation, the exact same property was relisted at double the price. This was not a system error — this was deliberate, dishonest, and greedy. When we contacted them, they refused to take any responsibility and blamed a third-party platform, claiming it was out of their control. This was a blatant lie. We spoke directly with the listing agent, who told us Aviles Norling themselves had cancelled the booking, that we weren’t the only ones they had done this to and that they were under investigation Their behavior is calculated and unethical. They lured us in with a lower rate, took our money, then dumped us when they thought they could get more. Not only were they completely unapologetic, but they tried to shift blame and offered no help whatsoever. This company is deceitful, greedy, and has no regard for customers. Book with them at your own risk — you may find your holiday ruined, your money tied up, and no one willing to take responsibility. We will never use them again and strongly advise others

I was looking for a house about 3 months before my friend recommended me Gil Avilés from Avilés realstate. I had 3 agents prior Gil, and it was a complete madness. I couldn't understand anything. The first day Gil explained step by step all the documents, processes, and laws involved to be able to get a house. He was always available, kind, and knowledgeable in the subject. Gil really cared about my process, and guided me thru. Furthermore, I finally got my house, and still contact Gil for advise even after WE GOT the house. This is a great service!!! In this crazy market nowadays, we were looking desperately for our first home, with no luck UNTIL we met Gil! We learnt a lot with him, and he was very honest and responsive since the first moment. He was on top of everything and we could really tell he cared for us, and always pushing to our side and our interests. Finally we found our dream home and we are very happy with it, thanks to Gil for his efforts, now if we want to sell or move, Gil will always be the realtor-to-go for us, we extremely recommend Gil!

My wife and I moved to Charleston from out of state and did not have a lot knowledge about the area. We initially were working with a realtor, who unfortunately like so many, were really just a realtor on the side. So we found most of the homes on our own and she essentially was there to open the door. Most of our questions were answered with “you can google that”. Then we met Gil. After just one showing we knew we had to work with him. His depth of knowledge and completely honest approach was refreshing. So we immediately terminated our relationship with the prior realtor and began our hunt with Gil. Every home we saw he accompanied with comps of similar home sold in the area, every time I called (no matter the time) I got an almost instantaneous response, and every step of the way he was clear and transparent about the process. My wife and I actually feel like we learned a ton about the real estate process by working with him! I can’t say enough good things about Gil and his team. We found the home of our dreams in the perfect neighborhood and feel so much peace in knowing We didn’t settle on a single thing. Gil never pressured us, had endless patience and we felt truly wanted our family (4 kids included) to be happy. I think it’s the difference of working with somebody who owns the business as opposed to a broker who works for a “big name”. I seldom write reviews but when a product or person really goes above and beyond I do. We are so grateful we found him. My wife is convinced it was fate!!!
