Worst customer service! I have been with them since 2013. Closing my account!!! Do not use these people!!’

I purchased 2 items from Avenue. After a few days, I received an email telling me there was an error in the warehouse and my order was canceled. A few days after that email, I'm notified via email the email was sent in error and my items will arrive shortly. My items arrive, I need to exchange. Avenue doesn't do exchanges, you have to repurchase the items. I'm not able to return the items based on what the customer service rep, Bridget, told me. They no longer have my size in stock. And according to Bridget, since my initial order was canceled, not by me, by Avenue, I'm unable to return. Bridget tells me I should sell or gift the clothing items. They are giving me the run around and I will never shop there again.

Sorry Customer Service and horrible clothes. Buyer BEWARE!!!!!

The worst company I've dealt with, lying, disrespectful employees, they don't comply with the rules, they violate the privacy rules with the client, they don't honor their policies, they send you torn and dirty clothes. The customer service department and its managers when answering leave you on hold for more than 10 minutes without returning to the call. In short, do not buy in that store. Now there are much better online stores, with better prices and, above all, better customer service.

I returned items a month ago. Credit card still not credited. Called four times. Am told Corporate in Australia handles and I cannot call them. Why?? I don’t know! They keep saying they are escalating. So far, I’ve called four times and still not credited. They confirmed they have received the items and credited on their end. Corporate has to credit my card. So frustrating! 4/27 update. Still waiting for a credit to my account! Waiting for a manager to call me back. 8/9. Update. I received refund approximately 6 weeks ago. Finally.

I have been a loyal Avenue customer for many years. I placed an order of 7 items on 4/3/23. My order was “in fulfillment” status for 9 days. Today I received an email saying ALL 7 items were “out of stock”, my order was being canceled, and my money refunded. RIDICULOUS! What has happened to this company?

If I could I would give them NEGATIVE stars. I tried to get a Credit card they said to call for the information they needed. Then I called and said they don't know what to do. They know nothing. I spent 20 minutes trying to get a hold of them. They have don't have people with brains working there. I do NOT recommend shopping there or getting a credit card with this store.

Do not purchase from avenue. they do not stand behind their products. Terrible communication. No one can give you a straight answer.
