A glorified thermometer
The ava bracelet is nothing more than a convenient thermometer. Its nice it is a consistent temperature reading with no effort on your part but does that make it worth $300? No. The app is horrible. The graphs aren't helpful, it gives you a lot of information that seemingly has nothing to do with fertility. Additionally, it never got my ovulation days correct and it would not adjust real time to what my readings were saying. It stuck to its guns and said "you ovulated on this day" despite my data clearly indicating otherwise. I ended up using Fertility Friend to enter my temps and that app had more helpful tracking and it adjusted to what my data actually indicated. It was much more accurate than Ava. That paired with ovulation tests is how I got my bfp. Ava was little help with the process. Had I known, I probably wouldn't have bought it. If you can be militant about taking your temps at the same time every day, save yourself $300 and do that. Enter your temps into Fertility Friend and you'll pretty much be replacing Ava. Good luck!

Dear Liz first of all we'd like to thank you for your very honest feedback - it's truly appreciated. We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience with the Ava bracelet. Ava is a medical device and measures multiple physiological parameters to detect your body's signals to recognize when you're entering your fertile window in real-time. In conjunction with the Ava app, five physiological parameters are displayed in the app as charts so that you can see the patterns and changes throughout your cycle. Ava gives you fertile window and ovulation predictions based on your physiological data, giving you more fertile days than other devices, and more personal physiological information than other apps, to plan around conception. Please know, that you can always contact us directly via e-mail in case of further questions or feedback, please don't hesitate to write to [email protected]. Warmly, the Ava team
