Overall, I find the app useful for tracking ovulation, however, there are a few things about it I really dislike. First, once you put in that you are pregnant, you can’t see your past data as easily. The data is important for things like calculating a due date. Second, you can only enter a miscarriage on the actual date. So if you start miscarrying and don’t enter it immediately, the date is inaccurate and it throws off your post-miscarriage cycle.

Danke Ava.

I started using Ava to track my cycles when I didn't get my period for 4 months in a row due to the condition my body was in from stress. Even though Ava is typically recommend for women using non-hormonal birth control I continued using it when my Gyn recommend I get an IUD to help ascertain I wouldn't get pregnant before planned. Eventually my life changed nd my periods returned. Ava helped me track the transition back into a normal cycle. Two years later I decided to get the IUD removed and begin TTC. That was in October of 2019. Ava helped me monitor all the hormonal changes my body went though in the adjustment to being off hormonal birth control and always adjusted my cycle to match what my body was going through. I was able to conceive in only 3 cycles thanks to Ava.

I got pregnant on my first full cycle using Ava (I started using day 5 of my previous cycle) after 16 months of trying to conceive. Ava got to know my body extremely fast, and though I know that isn't everyone's experience, based on my temps predicted my ovulation perfectly. I found it easy to use- only had one or two technical glitches even while having to travel a lot during the first several weeks I used it. I am very grateful to Ava for helping me along in this journey.

Using the ava bracelet for almost 4 months and still not pregnant. I am 33 and feeling super hopeless. I will continue to use the bracelet but I am unsure about it.

Dear Marisa Thanks for you review, we totally understand that the ttc journey can be exhausting and the hopeful expectation for that BFP is sometimes unbearable. In order to work properly and to give you the most accurate predictions, Ava must be worn every night for a minimum of 4 hours and record at least 3 hours of sleep. It can take up to three cycles for Ava, to gather enough about your unique physiological pattern in order to make accurate predictions. We further kindly want to highlight, Ava's built-in fertility detection feature is accurate for cycles between 24 – 35 days. Currently, Ava is not designed for and has not been tested for women: - Whose cycles are not in the 24- 35 days range; - Whom have been diagnosed with PCOS; - Whom are recently postpartum; - Whom are breastfeeding; - Or whom are seeking to use it as a method of contraception. We'd also like to offer you the possibility, to have a look at your individual charts and analyze them together with you - maybe that helps answering some of your questions. Please therefore contact us directly via [email protected]. Warm regards, the Ava team
